A house where you can taste Japanese culture, Megu, with a mountain view and private hot springs

Angela & RayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Loved our stay in Gora in this awesome traditional style place. Having your own Onsen quite the luxury. Futon style on the floor beds comfy. We had a chef make us dinner on the first night and it was great. Thoroughly recommend doing that. Outlook across to the hills is lovely as are the garden views. Megumi is really friendly and responsive, a great host. One thing to note is the cable car is the best access and is only running from about 9am to 6pm. A steep trek from Gora station otherwise. Would totally stay here again.

As other people have reviewed, the owner handled the check-in in person and explained the interior in a very easy-to-understand way, so I was able to use it with peace of mind. I had a very relaxing day in a very quiet location, close to the highway interchange, station, supermarket, convenience store, etc. I will stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

For the price and the location, it was worth it. Nice traditional Japanese room to stay in, as well as a good bathroom, and it wasn’t very far from Hachioji station. A very nice place to stay

【100% Natural Hotspring】 Tsutaya Ryokan Mix Dorm

IvanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I only stayed one night and was agreeably surprised by how beautiful the place was. I had booked a dormitory bed and it was very specious. Since Onsen was a new thing for me, I only tried the indoor Onsen and loved the experience. The check-in and check-out staffs both were really nice and helped me carry my big luggage up to the stairs. I had a nice stay and would definitely come back another time and also stay longer this time. Thank you.

Thailand house(Japanese-style room)

나연Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I'm reading this review and I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay in the vicinity!! I've used Airbnb quite a few times in Korea and Japan, and I'd like to say that it was by far the best experience! I came from the Nissan Stadium performance of Higgenda, and even though I was late for the scheduled check-in time, you were generous and accommodating. Host Masaru provided a free restaurant-level dinner and a great izakaya-level drinking party! 🍛🍺 It's really at the level of volunteering... I thought it was impossible just for the money, but I felt that it was possible because the host really likes to communicate and talk to people! There is a cute puppy (Yuchang🐶) and the rooms are divided into 1, 2, and 3 floors, so you can relax comfortably in a private room! At check-out, we will take you to the station by car. Is it okay to be treated like this at this price?I really want to. 🥹 Those who see this... especially Koreans!! It would be best if you can speak Japanese, but the owner can speak a little English, so if you want to leave good memories in Japan, be sure to stop by!! Thank you again to Masaru for making great memories!! 🙇🏻‍♀️
