The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. You'll love my place because of the central location in the Vesterålen region, Lofoten and Harstad, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.
