Lake side house rentals in Highland Lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Christopher’s place. It is clean, spacious, and the views are stunning, just a short walk to Dewey beach and Sunapee town. Highly recommend! Perhaps the only (minor) downside was that the place was short on household supplies and there were no grocery stores within a walking distance.

Another wonderful stay at Linda's home! We have been lucky to enjoy her beautiful and welcoming home many times. Lots of family memories made over the years! We are grateful for the opportunity to visit and a caring and thoughtful host!

Cozy spot with scenic views of Silver Lake. Our host Eric was responsive and provided detailed instructions on how to access the space and all of the perks included with the rental. Will definitely rebook if I ever find myself back in the area.

We have been going to Sandpond every year for as long as I can remember. We love the lake and the area. Claudia's cabins provide us the ability to join our family there and have our own space. We absolutely love it and are already looking forward to next year!!

This lovely home has everything you could need for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake. Loved hearing the loons calling. The kitchen was the most well-equipped of any airbnb I’ve been to. And it was a plus having a dishwasher and being dog-friendly. The house was super clean and the beds very comfy. Hope to return soon.

This was our second time at the cabin and we absolutely love it. Wish we could have stayed longer. So thoughtful and artsy. Perfectly scented and wonderful linens. The bed was very comfortable for us We enjoyed our outdoor showers and seeing the beautiful landscape, flowers and light up lanterns. Bonus, the hosts are charming and laid back. We hopefully will be back this fall 🙏

We came up from CT to get away from the hustle and bustle, and found paradise. Being in the yurt was the coziest I think I’ve ever been. Bennington is an adorable little town, and everything feels like it grew out of the ground organically, rather than being designed in some corporate boardroom where someone’s droning on about “atmosphere”. The Common Place Cafe was great, had a little basket of books, Harlow’s Pub was cool too, and the proximity to Mt. Monadnock is perfect for adventurers. Anyways, back to the yurt. The mattress was so cozy, the wood stove kept us plenty warm (make sure to turn the dampers down at night to preserve the fire), and the hot tub was a perfect distance away. Just enough to get cold enough in between to really enjoy it. Overall 10/10 experience, the yurt had every amenity you could think of. Really the perfect destination for anyone who needs to get away for a weekend and doesn’t have the time to buy camping supplies. Donna and Samantha were great too.

Such an amazing place to stay - easy to get to surrounding towns and local attractions but the physical location and the space lends itself to such a beautiful tranquility and peace we could feel ourselves relaxing the minute we got out of the car. Everything we could have wanted was provided, including a washer and dryer, the beds were so very comfortable, and being able to soak in the hot tub beneath the stars after a long day was just an added bonus. We were so grateful to be able to be in this space for about a week and hope to be able to rerun in the future!

Despite some snow and a power outage, our family had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday at this property. The gas fireplace was a blessing and helped us stay warm during the outage. The house was well-equipped and had all amenities as advertised. Merrill was a great host!

I can only say wonderful things about this property! Everything was beautiful both inside and out. The house was very clean and organized and was also extremely well stocked. Anything that we needed we found in this house. And everyone in our group said the beds were very comfortable… which is very important to me! Erik was great with communication and very proactive. He sent us a note about a week before we checked in that had everything we needed to know; it was quite helpful. I highly recommend this home….and as an added bonus, the view is spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

We would absolutely stay here again. This host was a great host- very responsive and available to answer questions. The accommodations is awsome & included everything we needed. The exterior entrance was a nice plus, and the little sitting area with a view of the open field a delight. As a plus Quiet but within easy walking distance to everything We wanted to see! This place is amazing- absolutely what I expected based on the photos.This little house had everything I needed and even a view of the birds from the porch! Our stay at Angela's place was absolutely fantastic. The moment we walked in the home gave that warm cabin cozy feeling. We were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Angela was incredibly responsive and helpful, and we would definitely stay here again!

What a cute place! This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. It was so relaxing on the back deck and being literally on top of the water was so cool. The inside has a great view of the water all around as well. Very cute inside and Mandi was a great host. We would definitely stay again!

Great getaway spot for a spring trip with the family! Enjoyed exploring the pond, relaxing in the hot tub and spending quality time in this beautiful home.

Had a wonderful time at the cabin can’t wait to book again. The space heaters came in handy as it got cold at night. Plenty of water there for us to use, and extra camp wood for a fire. It was a beautiful, peaceful, quiet place to rest and be in nature in so glad we could have this experience.

It was a very peaceful place to stay. Away from everyone, close enough to do stuff and get the essentials. About 15-20 minutes to find food or shopping for essentials. Went to a few fishing spots otherwise chilled at our well stocked cabin with a fire. Was hoping to check in early and offered for check in at 11am. Thought that’s was great if our host. Definitely recommend as a starting point to go fishing, hiking or hit mount sunapee. Thanks to our host for making our night out memorable

We were pleasantly surprised on how clean and modernize the place was. We have traveled several times to Hillsboro area to visit with family events and this by far the best place we stayed at.

We had a lovely stay here. It smelled like fresh eucalyptus inside. Mike gifted us homemade banana bread and the most delicious honey fresh from his backyard. The place was spacious, cozy, well decorated with a wide assortment of games. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We walked into Henniker and had a yummy lunch at Daniel’s pub. If trying to get into Manchester via uber, schedule it in advance to ensure you can get a ride.

perfect spot to unwind. Peaceful. gorgeous view. barly any bugs (not sure if that was good weather or location). the Washington general store makes a delicious burger. I would go back in a heart beat!

Super cozy and really innovative tree house. The bathroom especially with the rain shower head was amazing. Mirror was interesting also with special lighting. Decor is perfect for the setting in the cedar trees. Rustic and dreamy. ⭐️

This was the perfect spot for us. The cabin was all we hoped for! Everything was so clean and well thought out. We felt at home immediately! Chris always responded to our questions. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that would have made it a better stay! If you are looking for an “in the woods” experience, this is the place!
