Stay with 日本family, easy to go to Sapporo & Otaru

Excellent stay in Kazue’s beautiful home. Whilst, it is a bus and metro ride away from Sapporo city centre, her hospitality and rural stay offers an authentic homestay. She made us a delicious breakfast both mornings (only ¥1000 yen each) which overlooked her garden filled with tulips and vegetables. The beds were super comfy and it’s a great space for chilling and a more relaxed stay in the area. It is private and separated from the rest of the house too. Maeda Forest Park is about a 20-minute walk away and is worth a visit if the weather is dry. Kazue is a delightful human and she made us feel completely at home immediately. Unless you’re looking for a place in the heart of the city, then look no further than staying with Kazue.

I'm so satisfied that I only want to know about it, but I want it to be famous! The check-in time was constantly delayed due to shopping on the first day, but they waited for us to come slowly. We had good communication because one out of two people could speak a little Japanese, and the bathroom was so clean that we were able to finish the day pleasantly with a shower! He remembered our schedule every day and showed us how to get there or what to do. Also, they took us to the station by car! Most importantly, the breakfast prepared by my grandmother was plentiful and delicious before starting the day! It was like eating omakase! Plus, there was a puppy named Tarot, so it was a constant laughing time. Also, if I travel to Sapporo, I intend to revisit 200% unconditionally! ! , , , , , 2 1 ! , , , , , , , ! ! ! ( ) 200% !

North and North Red Brick (near Kita 24jo Station) Redbrik house (with air purifier)

It's a residential area a little away from the city, so the surroundings are quiet. It's about 20 minutes from the city center, but it's not inconvenient for sightseeing. There are various types of restaurants and shops within a 5-10 minute walk from the property, so it's convenient. You can walk to the Hokkaido University campus in about 10 minutes, and you can find restaurants and cafes around the university. The room is clean and has several windows, so it's bright. Considering in advance that you can't do your own laundry and that you have to return to the accommodation by 11pm, there are no major difficulties in your travel schedule.

Hiroko-San was a very kind and gracious host. She helped me out in so many ways and was aways willing to help and go the extra mile! She is very knowledgable about Hokkaido's history and the culture. She did a great job explaining all the things that make Sapporo special and I can't wait to visit again. The accommodations are well maintained and clean and was a welcome sight to come home to after a long day's journey. My stay in Hokkaido was very enjoyable and a big part of that was due to Hiroko-San's help.

Friendly welcome, you get an explanation of how everything works. Hostel in the original sense, very nice atmosphere, you can easily find contact with other guests and there are nice conversations developing. A parking space is very close. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again. When I get to Sapporo.

South-facing 2nd floor, 7 minutes to Sapporo Station by subway, free parking, supermarket, convenience store, can pick up from nearest station by car

We and our 2 toy poodles came back here to stay again a year later. Everything was in order and well maintained, with a couple new appliances. Host remembered us, and of course, the arrival snacks of delicious freshly cooked takoyaki, since she runs a take-out snack business on the ground floor. Our dogs felt right at home, remembered the host and slept at their usual spots from a year ago. Happy to return and if we go back to Sapporo again, this will be our choice of accomodation ! As mentioned in my review a year ago, you will have your own space with private toilet and bathrooms and a key to your space on the 2nd floor. The only place you will probably meet the host is at the the stairs (host and family live on 3rd floor) and the ground floor entrance, which is the parking garage and her takeout kitchen. In fact, in our 3 days there, we only met the host once at the ground floor entrance as her takeout shop was closed. Simply love this place !
