Here you will find a renovated cabin from the year 1895 with double bed (two 75 cm beds connected), a comfortable chair and a fireplace. There is a small river 50 meters from the cabin with clean drinking water and a natural pond for a nice bath. Here you will be completely alone, and there is no noise from the "civilication". Notes: - You need to bring your own bed linens.

Short distance to grocery store , 5 min walk. Private entrance and free parking. Newly refurbished in 2018. One bedroom with a double bed. White goods. Exit to garden that can be used! Nice hiking area right outside the door, short distance to the mountains around Førde.

The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. Highly recommend this place, thanks for a wonderful stay Janet and Kenneth!

Beautiful location amongst mountains and water. Everything in the cabin was clean and loved the local juices and jam set out for us . Veronica was kind to get our luggage up to the cabin with her ATV. We also enjoyed the hot tub out in front. One thing to note I’m not sure if there is wifi available. But this didn’t end up being an issue for us since my partner had his cellular working.
