Waterfront vacation rentals in Hervey Bay

We were certainly not disappointed with our stay. The property was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean and in a great location. We love walking and did three 10km walks along the esplanade. There is secure underground parking and a nice pool. I have no hesitation in recommending Helen’s property and would certainly return if we were coming up to Hervey Bay again.

This was a great place to stay for a long stay as we had everything we needed to feel at home. It was wonderful to be able to cook and have what we needed. We loved the locality and being to walk to grab a coffee and do beach walks every morning and arvo. Thank you for a great stay.

Lynne and Wayne's apartment was fantastic! Super clean, all the amenities we needed, beautiful views, great pool and excellent location. Honestly - what else could you need. Special touches we appreciated were the snacks and things for the fridge which made our next morning much easier after checkin!

We had to make a last minute booking when we arrived in Hervey Bay as our booked accommodation had cancelled at the last minute. Michael very kindly booked us in, and his place was a great find. Across the road from the beach, close to the bus stop, and places to eat. He provided beach chairs and umbrella, bikes to get around and even a fishing rod, although it was too wet and windy to try them out. But there was a good collection of books and games to see use through. Being a ground floor unit was perfect for us, and it had everything we needed. We never had an issue parking our car out the front on the street.

The house is really luxurious and clean, however the best part is that the beach is directly across the road! We went to the beach every morning and afternoon and went back to the house in between for lunch and it was perfect. It’s walking distance to the pier, and a short drive to the esplanade shops. The outdoor shower and tap was very helpful. We were a group of 6 and it comfortably fit all of us and two cars. Would be a very great house for families with children as there is a small play space provided. Our stay was enjoyable and we all said we’d return again!

We had a wonderful stay in Kelly's unit. The location is unbeatable, right opposite the beach, making it perfect for our beach days. The unit was well-equipped with everything my son and I needed, truly making it feel like a home away from home. I especially loved the pool – a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The nearby cafes in both directions were fantastic, offering plenty of options for coffee and delicious meals. I also really appreciated the early check-in and the prompt action when I had an issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Torquay!

Great stay in Hervey! Directly opposite the beach - beautiful sunsets and you can hear the waves at night. It’s on a busy-ish road but there’s no traffic night noise at night so didn’t bother us. Easy ground floor access and undercover parking. Well equipped kitchen with pantry basics and a few treats (thanks Julie) Short walk to local shops and playground and a 5 min drive to local attractions. Great family holiday stay, thanks Julie!

Solid wifi, clean and quiet space, good communication and comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

Very relaxing weekend. Quiet neighbourhood and the beach wasn’t even a minutes walk. Bed very comfortable and plenty of kitchen utensils and very decent shower pressure. Loved the pizza oven and plenty of equipment to prep your pizzas. Convenience store was an easy walk or a short drive and restaurant 5 min drive. Would defiantly book again! Michael's house was amazing. It had so many amenities and it was perfect for our large group. The back of the home had a short path to the beautiful beach at Toogoom. The area was perfect for a quiet getaway for the family. The house was neat, clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided for us.

We stayed at this property for a special family event, and it was truly fantastic. It comfortably hosted our whole family and exceeded every expectation we had. The space was thoughtfully designed for all ages — from grandparents to kids — and everyone had a wonderful time. The facilities were exceptional, with everything we needed and more. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, functionality, and beauty so well. We made treasured memories here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a stay that brings people together in the best possible way. Great location, private and right next to the beach. Very clean bathrooms, rooms and kitchen with all necessary amenities. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend for a group or a family.

We chose Joanne's property specifically for the location as it was close to family and we enjoyed our stay alot. The property is quirky, the views spectacular and the location peaceful. Unfortunately the weather gods were not on our side the weekend we stayed which did prove challenging, given some of the properties features. Those who stayed in the granny flat had an experience which was more like glamping. There is no way to enter the separate container, and the bathroom which is in a shed close by, without being fully exposed to the weather. Which meant dark, wet walks, across sodden grass. Whilst we were fulky aware of this setup when we booked it did impact our stay and is mentioning. The weather aside, we would definitely choose to stay again, in the hopes for finer weather. We would love to be able to fully enjoy the wonderful outdoor areas this property offers!

The house was terrific, set amongst the trees right by the western beach it was a perfect place to see the sun go down over the ocean. The house had everything we needed without feeling over furnished. If you’re after a getaway with family this place is a must, you won’t be disappointed.
