The South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. One small note, there is a beer garden nearby, it's rare, but there can be noise. Normally only an issue if you're trying to sleep with the windows open.
