Mr Sujeewa has kept this place like his child. It was one of the most beautiful stay of our entire trip in srilanka. House is incredibly beautiful filled with army artefacts. Mr Ganeshan, the caretaker is a beautiful soul who helped us with all the requirements. However, the place is a litte difficult to reach with a big van. Loved the place, and specially the hospitality of Mr Ganeshan. 5/5. Will highly highly recommend

Kingsman House is an awesome place to stay when visiting Kandy. It is an easy walk to the lake, the Temple of the Tooth, the Kandy Mall (KCC) and most everything you would want to visit in Kandy. The home is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. Whether you prefer western or Sri Lanka classics, the chef and staff can make it and it will not disappoint. We were in Kandy for a wedding and we easily accommodated everyone we need to house from afar at Kingsman. We had dinners and breakfast for 12 people on some days. I don't think there is anything you could possibly complain about. Everything we needed was accommodated. Other things we visited within a short drive were the elephant sanctuary and Amumuluwawa. We will definitely stay at Kingsman when we return to Kandy.

Lovely place for vacation closer to town and a great place for family get away.

Our stay at Nilantha and his mother Kusum's AirBnB in Kandy was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, Kusum warmly welcomed us with her incredible hospitality, making us feel right at home. The accommodation was spotless, charming, and perfectly located near key attractions, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings of Kandy. Kusum went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing us with valuable local tips and delicious homemade meals that showcased authentic Sri Lankan flavors. The tranquil garden setting was a personal highlight, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of adventures. Communication was seamless, especially since Nilantha was abroad; Kusum managed everything effortlessly. We truly appreciated the personal touches that made our stay memorable. Overall, we couldn't recommend this place more highly. If you're looking for a genuine Sri Lankan experience with warm and caring hosts, look no further. This is the place to be.

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

An Unforgettable Stay – Feels Like Home! My friend and I traveled from Germany, and staying at Liv House was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! From the moment we arrived, Prasanna and his lovely mother welcomed us like family. Prasanna is hands down the best host we've ever had – always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. The tours he arranged were tailored, thoughtful, and absolutely amazing. The food? Incredible! His mother’s home-cooked Sri Lankan meals were delicious and made with so much love. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and comfortable, and the whole house has such a warm, family vibe. We felt more like friends than guests, and we’re already planning to come back. Liv House is a true gem – highly recommended!

My colleagues who stayed there felt it was a bit remote. Unfortunately they had to cut short the journey to no fault of Gayan.

Location is really good, you ll have a great view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Breathtaking views. House is really nice and clean. Staff members are really friendly. They communicate well and they can cook 👨‍🍳 well. If you want to use the pool please let them know early, pool is having fresh water from mountains. If you have a driver, he/she can have their own drivers unit at the back of the house. Rooms are really good and all the rooms have attached bathrooms. This place is good for 8 people. We will be back again ☺️🤩🎉

Sujith is a great host, our family of 15 enjoyed the stay, and definitely recommending others who wishes to visit kandy to rent his place. The place is clean, privacy, secured environment and breathtaking view. They are helpers also at your disposal for basic needs or assistance.

Wow. We absolutely adored the trip. The accommodation is simply stunning, every bedroom was spacious and the communal areas so well maintained. The staff were all attentive, helpful and polite. Mr Maha was always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. He arranged a tour of a local tea factory and always had a lovely smile on his face. The location is very remote. There are bugs and insects. So take a driver (accommodation available) and bug spray. Food was lovely and a great choice. We had massages, which were arranged by Mr Maha and were absolutely fantastic. Some of our group did a cooking class which they loved. We all were able to taste their food. Genuinely such a beautiful place to stay surrounded by nature and peace. Five stars! Highly recommended

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, somewhat remote, villa with amazing surroundings. We walked down to the river, did yoga on the patio and had Ayurvedic treatments next door. The owner is a charming person with a beautiful vision for the place. He was very friendly and took time out to show us around the garden and let us try fresh herbs and spices. I would recommend to have a car so that you can get to Kandy and visit all beautiful and inspiring sights the area has to offer.

Some places you stay at, others stay with you - this was definitely the latter. We came to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday, and somehow everything just clicked - the people, the setting, the timing. Shirani, our host, was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and her help made the day feel so personal and special. The home is stunning, peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of character. Even the most beautiful photos can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. Chef Kavin’s food was unforgettable. Absolutely soul-satisfying. We pushed our checkout just to have one more meal. Kapila, our butler, quietly ensured everything ran smoothly. Milan, the manager was kind, responsive and was always ready to help. Chandra and the gardener kept everything spotless, quietly working in the background. This trip became one of those rare, treasured memories. Our hearts are full and this place will forever be a part of our daughter’s first chapter.

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

Grand Hills is a fitting name for a villa with amazing views of the surrounding hills and Kandy area. Don's team at the villa were helpful and (especially Mr Chaminda); we were given local recommendations and they were very responsive to any requests or questions. The villa is a good size - our extended family had plenty of space and most rooms have a private balcony. The children enjoyed watching the monkeys on the roof in the morning. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and we were able to walk to the neighbouring resort for lunch and dinner. Pool was pristine.

We were on vacation in May this year. The accommodation and photos fully correspond to the description, everything is clean and beautiful. We were happy with the vacation and extended it for a few more days. We came specifically to see the villa in order to book it for the summer (2 months), but what a surprise that the ad indicated the entire villa, but in fact it turned out that the rooms are rented separately. If you come with the whole family in 4 bedrooms, the price is very different. This is not indicated on the website! It turns out that this is like a hotel rented by rooms, and accordingly, the rooms should be cleaned every day and the linen should be changed. We were not provided with this service. At my request, our personal belongings were washed for a fee, respectively.
