Farm View Cottage is the perfect idyllic retreat! The cottage and surrounds were truly stunning and all the extra little special touches made our stay unbelievably lovely. The delicious breakfast options (including cupcakes with Happy Birthday on - beautiful attention to detail!), the exceptional hand soaps, lotions and bath bombs and the incredible projector screen set up were all extra special. It was private and luxurious and we will be recommending it to everyone we know! Thank you so much, Nick and Marlena!

It was our second stay at the cottage and we will be back again. Wonderful, quiet spot surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of the hills around Waipawa. Johanna and Andrew are the perfect hosts. It was a great stay.

While perfectly private and set amongst beautiful countryside the place was a great base for exploring Hawkes Bay without being too far from anything— and with a great spa and sauna to relax in after a long day! Cam provided us with greens and herbs from the garden and a fantastically bright and sunny demeanor despite the rainy weather— making a memorable experience for our family we hope to repeat in the near future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The cottage was modern and had everything we needed, the outlook was just beautiful and we were so close to everything in town. Even though it rained most of our visit, we still enjoyed every second of our stay. We LOVED being able to get up close with the farm animals, our 6 year old had a blast! 10/10 and highly recommend to stay here. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again from our next visit from Australia ❤️

We needed a break from Wellington and booked this place for a couple of nights. Had an amazing stay - the place was perfect for our family and it even had a gym so I could workout. Nicky was a wonderful host - warm, inviting and incredibly easy to communicate with. Highly recommend and I hope we can come back

We had a great weekend at Ingrid’s! The house is comfy and cozy, and plenty of room for our family. The location was so nice - we didn’t really need a car once we got there. Ingrid was amazing - so accommodating and was quick to respond when we had a small issue. Overall the stay was amazing and would hands down stay again!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at this farmstay. Sally and Simon (and family) made us very welcomed. We had some great walks and were able to rest and recover after a few hectic days. Due to bridge damage we needed to take an extra long drive to reach the cottage, but believe me it was worth it. Please do not be put off by the longer trip.

We had to book last minute due to a cancelled booking. Paulette was very accomodating. The place was in a beautiful location and I wish we were able to spend longer there. Although there was only 6 of us, it’s the perfect place for large groups and has everything that you need

There was clear and perfect instructions from beginning to end. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful Airbnb. We would love to stay again some time in the future & we will recommend family and friends to stay. We sat outside at night on the bean bags and stargazed while listening to nature and by day we sat outside on the patio with our hot chocolates and looked around at the beautifullness of Waimarama/Ocean Beach. Perfect stay 10/10 overall ❤️

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

This is a lovely small home in a beautiful field facing two picturesque barns. It’s completely private with birds all around, no traffic or neighbor noise, and beautiful trees. The cottage is like-new. Shower was fabulous, bed comfy, and gas grill was great for lamb chops. Jane and Paul left a lovely welcome basket with fresh items for breakfast, and were great communicators. We highly recommend their place for a trip to Taupo or Rotorua area— it’s a great location for going to either area and also Tongariro.

Heather’s place was absolutely beautiful! Such a serene environment, and incredibly peaceful. Heather was very kind and hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Napier and surrounds.

We adored our stay! The cottage was pristine. The location is great. It is right across a quiet stretch of beach and walking distance from a great playground. It is very close to the airport but recent upgrades meant we couldn't hear the planes from inside the house. Our little one was obsessed with watching the planes take off. What really set this place apart was how thoughtful and kind the hosts were. We have a baby and toddler and the hosts brought toys for the kids to play with. The kids had the best time!

This cosy, little house offers everything we need for our short vacation in this region. Great addition is the smell of the citrus trees and Janet's friendly dog and cat. We would definitely choose Janet's place next time.

Heron cottage made for an absolutely wonderful weekend; stunning views, cozy cottage with fireplace and lovely Rae went the extra mile to make us feel at home! Beautiful part of the Hawkes Bay Area close to the good wineries and Te Mata for a hike.

A beautiful location to stay, the scenery and atmosphere made our trip an incredible experience. We felt very relaxed and at peace. It felt as though we were in the middle of nowhere, when actually we were only a few minutes drive from Taupo town. Loved it.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was clean, warm, peaceful and beautiful. We really appreciated the lovely small gestures such as the breakfast items, especially catering to my vegan food preferences. Tabitha the cat was definitely the highlight providing us with lots of cuddles and making herself right at home Would definitely recommend, everything about our stay was perfect. Great stay, close to town center but still peaceful and private. Old little cottage renovated inside with quality furnitures, the owner has great taste. The place is warm in this cold humidity winter. I had a great sleep here I love it. A little mishap happened our kid has broken a vase of them however the communication were great and all sorted. Highly recommended place to stay.
