Elodie’s apartment is perfect. We were two couples touring the champagne region by car. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. So well located….a short walk to a cafe, a bakery, the Abby and Dom Perignon burial place. We tasted the champagne of the house and it was delicious. We highly recommend!!

20.bis 24.Mai 2025 für uns war der Aufenthalt in Hautvillers im 'Bulle et Charme' sehr entspannend und erholsam. Das Haus bietet viel Platz, ist sehr gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet, äußerst sauber und in der Küche gibt es keinen Mangel. Es liegt am Kanal der Marne in sehr ruhiger Lage. Vom Haus aus kann man wunderbar entlang der Marne radeln oder auch nach Epernay in die Stadt rein, oder den Berg hinauf in den Ort Hautvillers, zur Wiege des Champagners. Rundum findet man bekannte und weniger bekannte Champagner Produzenten. Familie Bliard-Labeste sagen wir herzlichen Dank für den köstlichen Empfangschampagner, den wir noch am Tag unserer Ankunft verkostet haben, draußen in der Sonne. Dass man ein bißchen auf dem Präsentierteller sitzt bemerkt man nicht, die Gastgeber sind sehr diskret. Florian und Bernadette haben uns sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und die Kommunikation mit Dominique war völlig unproblematisch und schnell. Vielleicht kommen wir nächstes Jahr wieder!!

Seeking a quiet escape to nature, our stay was perfection. The vineyard was a most peaceful view and having a quiet home for ourselves was the perfect offset to busy Paris! The space and amenities were all high end. Sixtine made it easy to research options for eating out at fine restaurants. We found ourselves lunching and sampling bakeries in the surrounding towns and then equipping ourselves to stay in each evening with charcuterie and champagne. It was easy to explore the Champagne Towns but don’t miss the quaint Rilly La Montange. We walked into town, enjoyed a champagne tour, tasting and a local bakery. It’s a small and picturesque village. Also try the champagne they produce. If you have a chance, I highly recommend their Cramant! With many thanks!

Een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Mooi gelegen aan het château, wat zorgt voor een bijzondere sfeer. De omgeving is prachtig en perfect om even helemaal tot jezelf te komen. Het bed was erg comfortabel, waardoor we echt goed hebben geslapen. Absoluut een aanrader!

Our first visit to Hautvillers—the UNESCO-listed village in the heart of Champagne—was truly special, and staying at Sabine’s flat made it even better. Sabine is a fantastic host, and her place was perfect for us as a couple traveling with our dog. The village has a wonderful bakery just around the corner, where you can grab a fresh croissant and baguette to enjoy in the shared courtyard of the house. A highlight of our trip was visiting the family’s winery, where we got a fascinating glimpse into the process of champagne production—a tradition steeped in dedication and passion. During our stay, we followed some hiking recommendations and took a day trip to Épernay, given that Hautvillers has very limited options for lunch and no dinner spots. However, this only adds to the village’s appeal—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and ideal for a quiet getaway. We’d love to return someday and would happily book Sabine’s accommodation again!
