Amazing stay in this charming accommodation, quiet in the countryside but not far from shops. Quality services and very nice hosting. The decoration has been done very tastefully.

Small romantic weekend in this nice accommodation with a great garden. Very large for 2 people, we recommend it for families of 4 or weekends with friends. The weather wasn't on our side but we found something to do with the games available and the city is 15 min away. We even got delicious cupcakes and a local drink on arrival as well as the hot tub already at temperature👌. Thanks to Christophe for hosting us and to his little family. M&J

Once we found the place we were overawed by how delightful the gite and it's superb surroundings. We sat and had our meals looking at the beautiful countryside. We had an amazing New Year’s Eve at Marc’s place. The house is cozy, charming, and exactly as pictured, making it a perfect spot for such a special occasion. What truly stood out was the incredible preparation—Marc provided a detailed guide on where to find everything in the house, including the kitchen, as well as fascinating details about the home’s history. The guide also included great recommendations for nearby shops, restaurants, and destinations to visit—we especially loved exploring Lourdes. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a small house featuring a billiard table and projector, plus a variety of board games. Marc was an excellent host, always helpful and responsive, even providing a video walkthrough to make everything clear. A small note for winter visitors: the kitchen has a brick floor and can be cooler, so bring slippers, and the second-floor bedroom is passable to access the bathroom. Overall, Marc’s thoughtfulness made this one of our best Airbnb stays!

Fantastically located in a small mountain village, a vacation home with perfect and loving room and garden design. The furnishings and furniture are very high quality and extremely extensive. There's nothing missing! Vanessa and Ludo are very friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they put a lot of passion into the house. We were very reluctant to leave and would be happy to come back!

We had a great weekend in this really beautiful place! The decor is done with great taste, everything is clean and ultra pleasant to live in. The setting is just perfect for relaxing: quiet, nature, a real breath of fresh air. You feel good as soon as you arrive, it's the perfect spot to disconnect. The owners are super nice and passionate, they even showed us their working watermill, right next to the cottage, it was great. Frankly, a little piece of heaven, we'll be happy to come back!

What a wonderful stay! Magali and Laurent were excellent hosts from our reservation to our departure. Accustomed to family stays, this home is by far the best we've rented. The renovation of the Grange was done with great taste, the equipment of the accommodation was above our expectations. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. The cleanliness is impeccable. Marie-Françoise is a very welcoming person and we enjoyed the welcome gifts. The house is cozy as advertised in a quiet area and close to small shops. It is very well-equipped, nothing is missing, not to mention all the tourist brochures about places to visit. The area is very nice and Marie-Francçoise knows it well and was able to guide us for the different visits Excellent stay to repeat, I recommend it

This is a lovely place to stay - matches the photos, great base for exploring the Vallee d'Ossau and area. Christophe was an extremely helpful and responsive host, and helped with local guides/suggestions. Just a couple of things to note: the hot tub is great, but can take up to 24 hours to heat up, so if you want to use it on your first evening (as we did) good to request that before you arrive. Also, the gite's bedroom is by a mill stream - the noise is present but fairly constant, however on the first few nights I needed ear plugs to drown it out. Otherwise the garden - pond - hammock - hot tub is utterly delightful and I highly recommend for a place to unwind and a base to explore from.

It's the kind of special place we'd like to keep secret, it's so magical. If you like places that have a soul, wild, while being comfortable and welcomed by a charming family, not a key box, you will be delighted! Nestled between the arms of the mountains, the sheepfold is ideal for families, children can scramble without roads around, and the rooms are super comfortable, not to mention the wood-burning stove that revives everyone! Don't hesitate, it's a gem!

Family with 4 children and we were very well installed with a spectacular view. The space is very welcoming. The distance of the lanes as well as the village is very close, about 10-15 minutes by car. The car is parked in a park near the house. We always have to walk a little. The house is next to a house with sheep which can be friendly and quite "natural" but this also implies everything that the sheep leave in the way that is the same as what we do.
