Coro Camping is a totally private eco camping site with your own river pool, hidden away in the beautiful and peaceful Rangihau valley near Coroglen. Close to all the popular beaches with great biking and tramping on your doorstep. Our season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March. Each year we look forward to meeting new and existing clients to share our little piece of paradise. If you wish to bring the family or friends please get in touch to add extra people for your stay.

Fantail Studio

Step into this cosy, stylish studio tucked away in native bush. Close the door and switch off from the world… except for the gentle sounds of local birdlife, fantails, tūī and kererū Start your day with a coffee or wind down with a glass of wine on your private deck. Kick back on the couch with a good book or catch up on your favourite shows — this space is all about relaxing your way. Your peaceful getaway, designed with calm in mind. Plus, safe off-street parking for two vehicles.

The Dome Waikino: privacy in nature

A 2-person cosy, insulated cabin with the option for a king bed or singles arrangement . An ideal place to unwind and take a break from the stress of city life. It's secluded, quiet, private, surrounded by bush and mountains, with private parking and a river just down the road. Beautiful sunsets and star-filled nights, close to the Karangahake Gorge and the nearby towns of Waihi, Paeroa, and Waihi Beach. BBQ available, fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, linen and towels provided.

Tawharanui 890 Studio.

This is a comfortable,small fully contained stand alone Studio in a farm setting.Situated nearby to beautiful beaches, and the Tawharanui Regional Park where you can take bush walks and trails.On dusk you are able to spot kiwi in the Regional Park, which is very special.If you are attending a Wedding here in Tawharanui this is a perfect location being so very close to the Venue.Ideal for cyclists also as there is a large barn where you can leave your bikes securely and dry.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.

Kuaotunu's hideaway- Peebles Cottage

We are a a mature married couple and our boutique holiday cottage is along side our home. We seek to offer you a personal and helpful service for your stay with us here in Kuaotunu. Grey Lynn/Ponsonby: Stunning more than just a room

You'll love our location, it is quite unique. In a prior life it was a mechanics workshop which we have repurposed into a delightful home. BTW - Once you book, you will have the wing to yourselves, even it's just you. Relax in the covered terrace with a cuppa in the morning and unwind with a beer or wine in the evening before hitting the many fine restaurants and eateries in the area. Tea, coffee, milk and "some treats" included.

Bush studio apartment

Self-contained apartment in a unique, artist-designed house: a beautiful studio with lovely new bathroom, situated in the hills above Kuaotunu, surrounded by NZ native forest. Enjoy sitting on the deck, under giant fern trees, listening to birdsong and the gurgling of the stream. If you're lucky you'll even hear our resident Kiwi calling! A place to relax and recharge only 3 minutes drive to Kuaotunu village and beach.

River Gypsy Glamping

We have two buses side by side for group bookings for four or more people just open now for Xmas period. This private wee campsite has all the amenities for friends or family looking for privacy this summer. Beautifully surrounded by nature,the river and sea are right here on your doorstep. Cathedral Cove and Hot Water beach are just over the hill and all the Coromandel activities are within an hours drive.

Located in beautiful Whitianga, just a short walk to Buffalo Beach, our studio is tucked away with a lush garden filled with tropical and native plants. Private and self-contained, it’s perfect for relaxing—soak in the two-person spa, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy the laid-back Kiwi vibe. A great base to explore the Coromandel, with off-street parking and close to shops, restaurants, and The Lost Spring.

Bird's Nest - Straw-bale Studio at Hot Water Beach

The perfect place on the Coromandel Peninsula for a couple to escape to. This unique straw-bale studio is a magical place to stay. Overlooking farmland and Hot Water Beach, you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your bed. You'll be close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing and even hear kiwi in the nearby bush. Please note that our studio is approximately 1.5 kms from the beach.

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
