School house that has become a residential house. Newly renovated and modernized in 2023. Over 3 meters in ceiling height in the "classrooms", timber walls, stylish and overlooking the Jølstravatnet that can be enjoyed from the window or from the porch. The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lovely living room with kitchen and dining room, as well as a TV room. Jølster offers mountain tours all year round. Haukedalen is a small village in Sunnfjord municipality, surrounded by high mountains and beautiful nature. A nice place to relax or explore the mountains and the many nice mountain farms in the area. Location by Haukedalsvannet, with jetty and possibility for fishing and swimming. Boat can be rented. Nearest grocery store: Joker Viksdalen, about 20 min. by car Nearest town: Førde, approx. 40 km away. There are large shopping malls and all kinds of shops. Sunnfjord municipality is a large municipality with many cozy villages. Worth a visit. Welcome.

Jølet- Elvedrømmen

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.
