We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mia’s home . What a welcoming and peaceful environment, beautifully designed and decorated home that flexes a trophy fireplace in the middle of the living space. This place is great for group or even more private settings , there is nothing Mia doesn’t cater for. I had booked for my birthday celebration, a party of 10 and I look forward to booking with Mia again .

Linda was very helpfull with accomodating us and our dogs. She checked in daily to ensure we were fine and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Can definitly recommend them for a relaxing family stay.

Simon's house provided an exceptional stay. The spacious interior and comfortable beds made for a restful sleep, while the seamless indoor-outdoor living experience, the ingenious manifold doors, allowed for delightful moments watching golfers pass by in the garden with a glass of wine in hand. The estate's easy accessibility and sense of security made exploring the scenic walks around the area a joy, especially the dam where boats gently went by. Inside the house, every amenity was available to whip up meals, and the lounge area with its oversized sofas and large Smart TV was perfect for unwinding. Throughout our stay, Simon proved to be an attentive host, responding promptly to any inquiries and ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. His flexibility and attention to detail were perfect, making our experience memorable. In summary, Simon's house is a gem of a getaway, offering not just a comfortable stay but also a warm hospitality that exceed expectations.

The place is breathtaking... The pictures ain't doing it justice shame. Everything was clean and spot on. Madam Aisha was the best host, very active when you need help or anything, and she also has a loving personality. The place honestly felt like home. I would recommend it to my friends and family and I would definitely book in any day as long as I am visiting Harties site.

As a family of three, we absolutely loved staying here. It was so spacious and has everything you need, so we were very comfortable and enjoyed our 10 day stay. Mokaba is a great host, and was immediately responsive to all our requests. The area is quiet and safe, and there are nearby shops and parks in walking distance. Would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful setting and really spacious room and separate bathroom with shower. Peaceful and next to a huge park. Easy to find. Well equipped unit and very secure. Anna is a friendly and considerate host.

I have stay at Tebe place couple times. She is very welcoming responsive host. I would recommend. It has become my favourite place to book everytime I fly from the uk to joburg. Clean tidy privacy quite it really what one needs for a getaway. Well done tebe for being such a good host

It’s blissful place, very quiet and full of beautiful surroundings ✨🙌🏽

10/10 would recommend. Pictures don’t do the place any justice. Julie was quick to respond to our texts. We have an awesome weekend. Only issue we had, was the wifi and the slow connection to the TV. We couldn’t watch a show without buffering but the wifi worked well on our cellphone devices.

Tanja's cabins were peaceful and private along the river and were well stocked with kitchen supplies. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. While there are several other cabins each felt as if we were all by ourselves. The rivers edge is walkable and fishable with many different water birds and we even saw an otter and kudu. This is a gem of a place (thw caretakers as well) and I highly recommend!

Truly a lovely and peaceful cottage! It's got everything you need + a nice yard. I like how the place is close to the mall, the dam, restaurants, and Aerial Cableway. Pieter is a wonderful host and there when you need him; very nice and wants to share all he knows about the area. Will definitely book again soon. We had a lovely stay!

We stayed with three couples at Ibis River Retreat and had two cottages. Both cottages were super private, have their own private jacuzzi, which we enjoyed a lot. We had a lovely Braai in the evening and took a nice walk down to the river in the morning. We also booked a couples massage down at the Pool, which we would 100% recommend! Already one night felt like a full holiday and we felt absolutely rested and will definitely come back next time we’re in South Africa! Especially being so close to Johannesburg Airport (50 minutes drive), but still feeling like out in the wild surprised me very positively!

Ursula’s place is a hidden gem! A cosy, rustic home away from home—beautifully equipped with everything you need. The deck overlooks a peaceful stream, perfect for enjoying a quiet cup of coffee while listening to the calming sound of flowing water. Ursula and her family were incredibly welcoming—they even met us at a nearby garage and guided us to the home, as we arrived late and in the dark. We were sad to only stay one night, but we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!
