Vacation rentals with lake access in Harris County

Enjoyed our time here! The back yard overlooking the pond was peaceful and we enjoyed reading out there while the kids played on the playset. Mattresses were comfortable and the house set up was great.

We love coming back to Auburn to visit - and will definitely return here! Shannon was super helpful, accommodating, easy check in, and had everything you could think of needing. Peaceful in a friendly neighborhood and convenient to wherever you’d need to go. Beautiful place and wonderful hosts!

The place was beautiful! We had grandkids with us and they had a great time! They loved seeing the bison, pig, chickens and getting to walk to the bridge over the pond. Even though it rained part of the weekend there was plenty to keep us busy! There was a pool table, foosball table, games and puzzles to do. Would definitely recommend Amy’s place!

The interior of this home is absolutely beautiful clearly, the host has done an excellent job maintaining the decor and creating a welcoming space. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by how well-kept and thoughtfully arranged everything was. It felt safe and comfortable, and we truly appreciated the care put into the home. However, the surrounding area was a stark contrast. While Columbus is definitely growing, it’s also facing serious challenges, especially with a visible drug problem. The surrounding area directly outside of this neighborhood was a “no” for our family. So glad we found this place. If you need a beautiful SAFE place to stay when you’re here THIS home is it.

Barbara was a good host and the location was conveniently located minutes away from the ball park.

Pictures led us to think this place was a little more spacious, but it was very nice and comfortable. Our only issues were a tiny refrig. which was immediately replaced with a brand new larger one and also an old metal bed in the guest bedroom where our son stayed that squeaked. Delainie & her family were very accommodating and even helped my husband with a flat tire! We plan to stay in one of Delainie's Airbnbs when we return in the Fall. Delainie (and family) are super fantastic hosts!!!

I will definitely stay here again very clean and Juanita made us feel right at home she was amazing. The surrounding has a beautiful view of the lake.

Had a wonderful time as usual. We love the solitude at this cabin and all the amenities available for enjoying the water and the woods!

We stay at a lot of vacation homes each year and this by far was our favorite. It was centrally located and we were only 10-15 minutes from everything. Cute house with great parking. The inside was immaculate and provided everything we needed plus some! Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms provided everything we needed plus and abundance of towels, etc. AC was amazing and kept the house nice and cool. We loved that there were ceiling fans in every room because that’s what we have at home too. Kitchen was perfect and the host left us tons of coffee pods, tea, creamer, water, and soda. Such a sweet surprise. It was nice to be able to do laundry while we were there and the host provided detergent and fabric softener. Living room furniture was comfy!!! The recliners were probably my favorite feature. It was something I looked forward to after a long day. House and Host were perfect and we look forward to our stay next year.

I just want to say thank you. I rented this house so my family could come down from North Carolina to see my brother’s graduation ceremony from the Army. The place was so spacious and perfect for what we needed, everything was provided and the lake was absolutely beautiful. We did a lot of fishing while I was there, we caught a catfish, bass, and the crappie fishing was killer. The owner was extremely responsive and flexible with me and also respected my privacy which I appreciated. I am extremely satisfied with my stay. I would recommend anyone come stay here especially if you enjoy fishing and a peaceful getaway. There is ample parking and the house is perfect for small and large parties alike. 👍 thanks again.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was convenient to where we needed to be. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent!! The screened in porch was lovely and the entire stay was very peaceful.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Secluded, surrounded by fields, and beautiful trees. The pond was tranquil and the wildlife was spectacular! Wayne was a fabulous host, and we enjoyed meeting him and chatting. We will be back!
