Heavenly Hideaway

PeterRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wonderful!!! We have such a relaxing weekend at Peter’s place. From the moment waking in we felt relaxed and at home. Peter had jazz music playing and the fireplace ready to go for us. There was plenty of wood available and Peter even provided fire starters for us to use. Peter’s place was spotless, the bath towels were soft and smelled so good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we slept so well. We loved the attention to all of the decor. We appreciated the plentiful seating in the living room. The couches were so comfortable and made relaxing so easy to do in front on the fire. The attention to detail and little touches that went into making this place amazing were appreciated. There were plenty of games, books, comfy blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, baking sheets, cups, plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. We especially loved the views from all the windows. We can’t wait to return for another visit.

Luxurious Condo on Slopes at Bryce Ski*Tube*Skate

SamanthaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Everything was exactly as advertised and then some. This place was perfect for me and my two littles. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed, and check in was incredibly flexible. My only complaint is that I wish I found this place earlier in the ski season. 10 out of 10 hands down.

Private Cabin Retreat in Lost City, WV

CourtneyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the best time at Bryce’s place! It was extremely spacious and peaceful with an incredible view - he also had SO many local recommendations! The Farmer’s Market (which had a dog friendly patio), hiking at Lost River State Park, and Lost River Trading post were some of our trip highlights. The perfect remote getaway!

Lost Woods Retreat

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is the perfect place to get away. Madeline was fantastic about messaging us and letting us know what to expect, things to do, and info about the house. She also is one of the most thoughtful host we’ve encountered. The space was perfect for what we were looking for. Comfortable bed, stocked with essentials, looked just like the photos, and had some extras we were not expecting. The road to the cabin is steep and unpacked, but Madeline let us know about before we arrived so we knew what to expect. We were so grateful that we could bring the dogs with us. The location is perfect if you want a quiet getaway. It was about an hour away from Luray and the Shenandoah NP entrances.

WV Mountain Paradise With Hot Tub and Game Room

MaiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rob's spacious cabin was the just the getaway we needed from the DC city chaos. He generously allowed early check-in. The kitchen and pantry were WELL stocked for our cooking needs. All 5 bathrooms and bedrooms were clean & beautifully made. Quirky decor to admire, & Pacman! We came on a hot spring day and the AC took awhile to kick in due to how enormous the house is & the huge windows with 360 views. Hanging out on the enclosed patio with cool breeze coming through remedied the wait. Some of us hiked around the area and visited the cute local shop nearby. We enjoyed the cleanest and fanciest hot tub in our BNB experience. Rob did caution us about the bugs, which is expected being in nature. Next time I return, would take advantage of the whole family of charcoal, propane grill and smoker on site for meals. I could see myself cozying up to the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace on cooler months. Overall a great house for a great price and I look forward to returning.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The luxury amenities made it feel like a 5 star hotel, while the peaceful setting tucked away in the woods was the perfect getaway. Although grocery shopping takes a bit of forethought, we had a wonderful time using the chef's kitchen and relaxing on the porch. Multiple fabulous hikes are within a short drive, and we appreciated that the cabin was dog friendly.

Somewhere Else: Lost River

MonicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was magical. The roads leading up to the house are gravel, we did make it fine in a corolla. We also made sure to be back in the house before sunset because it is remote and very dark. Like walking in ink where the only light that you can really see are the lights from a neighbor in the distance or the stars. I’ve been back home for 2 hours and I already wish I was back there. When we arrived check in was easy, we got settled, opened the windows and just enjoyed the silence and the gentle sound of the breeze rustling the leaves. I took so many baths because the bathroom was magic. Everything felt so serene. We did grocery shop and brought stuff in a cooler and I’m glad we did. The closest store was about 25 min away. Plenty of hiking nearby and a lot of hidden gems. Robert was so helpful and made sure we had all of the information we needed and ensured we arrived safely. We would go back in a heartbeat. We really didn’t even want to leave.
