Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Hardangerfjord

A stunning place with breathtaking views of the hardanger fjord and an ideal location by the water. We spent four wonderful days fishing, hiking and relaxing in the very peaceful garden. Jan is a truly kind and attentive host, always available to help and answer our questions. Fresh flowers and a bottle of local cider were waiting for us and made us feel instantly at home. A fantastic experience – Highly recommended! We do hope to have the opportunity to return soon!

We had a wonderful 3 days at Håkon’s place. It’s on a beautiful, quiet street where my kids could play at the playhouse/sandbox across the road. It was also a 10-15min walk down into Bryggen and to the Floyen funicular, so we really didn’t need our rental car at all. The neighbourhood also has many walkable grocery stores, coffee shops etc. The inside was updated and very clean, with everything we needed in the kitchen to eat in. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

This farmhouse high above Undredal was a truly special place to stay—quintessential Norway with stunning views over the Aurlandsfjord. Just a short drive from busy Flåm, it felt peaceful and local. Jannicke was a wonderful host and even left us fresh eggs. We walked down the steep hill each night to enjoy dinner by the fjord and one day relaxed in the sauna before a (very cold!) fjord dip. Highly recommend this unique and unforgettable spot!

Rosendal, naturen, fjellene, kulturen, været. Alt var fantastisk. Tinghuset, vertskapet Anita og Dag og badeplassen likeså. Vi hadde en strålende langhelg og savnet ingen ting. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake...

I am convinced this is the best cabin in all of the fjords! The location simply cannot be beat and the cabin was so thoughtfully built and furnished. I traveled here with my husband and two children (6 & 8) and it was the perfect size. Everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. We opted to use the boat one day and are so glad we did. It allowed us to see the fjords in a unique and personal way. Amazing memories getting up close with nature. There isn’t a single thing I would change about this place. We met the owner and his son who were very courteous. The owner gave us the recommendation to drive the snow road which we did - it had only recently opened. We were so grateful for the recommendation. Book it, you won’t regret it.

Beautiful location with unique home. Few quirks in the home but that is part of the charm. They communicated well and fixed a few maintenance issues very quickly. The views from the home and the surrounding area are so beautiful.

Arve is a real craftsman who has restored this beautiful old home. Located it the top of a hill and end of a road, it was very quiet and peaceful. Park at the foot.ferry and take it to Bergen. Arve is friendly and helpful, a very good host.

Old house with the character of Bergen. Great location, easy walking into centre and restaurants. Good parking for car, all amenities in house you’ll need. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Can highly recommend.

Huset var topp, kommunikasjonen var veldig bra. fikk svar på alt vi lurte på. Veldig lett å komme seg rundt, og alt i alt var det bare rett og slett helt topp. Vil absolutt anbefale å bo her.

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold! ·      Den storslåtte utsikten over fjorden og Sandholmane var en fryd å våkne opp til hver dag. Huset ligger idyllisk til i et uforstyrret hjørne av en stor park, noe som virkelig bidro til en rolig og avslappende atmosfære. ·      Leiligheten var både romslig og ren, med et interiør som forteller en spennende historie. Vi satte stor pris på hvor godt utstyrt alt var, noe som gjorde oppholdet vårt enda mer komfortabelt. ·      For de som verdsetter en god natts søvn, er dette stedet en sann oase. Sengene er komfortable, kombinert med den fredelige beliggenheten, omgitt av natur, skaper det perfekte forhold for en dyp og uforstyrret søvn. Ingen støy fra trafikk eller byens lyder, bare den rolige susing fra naturen rundt. ·      Svømmebassenget og badstuen med utsikt var høydepunkter for oss. Det var en glede å kunne slappe av og nyte disse fasilitetene i slike vakre omgivelser. Som alle skjønner, de besta anbefalinger – et helt spesielt sted!

Am liebsten würden wir noch mehr als 5 Sterne geben! Wir waren schon das 2. Mal dort und es wird sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Das Haus, der Garten, die Lage und der Ausblick sind einfach traumhaft! Es ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort :) Jan Åsmund und Ingvild sind außerdem ganz tolle Gastgeber, die immer freundlich und gut erreichbar sind. Es lohnt sich, das Boot ebenfalls zu mieten, da man damit gut den Fjord erkunden kann. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Anders is een perfecte gastheer die behulpzaam is en zeer flexibel is. De boot en zelfs de Hengels mocht ik gebruiken (boot zoals aangegeven tegen een vergoeding). Prachtige locatie voor wandelingen en (voor mij vooral) vissen (kabeljauw, pollak, Leng, pijlinktvis, schar en zelfs een haai).

Good place to stay, felt like home

We had a truly wonderful stay at Monica’s cabin. The place is just as beautiful as described – if not even better. The cabin is cozy, stylish, and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen has more than you’d ever expect, which made cooking really enjoyable. The location is fantastic – peaceful and surrounded by stunning nature, yet still easily accessible. It was the perfect place to relax, explore the area, and enjoy the quiet. Monica was an amazing host – super friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. Her communication made everything smooth and easy from the start. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again – hopefully in summer next time

Wir haben 10 Tage bei Linda verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Linda war immer zeitnah und freundlich zu erreichen. Wie empfehlen Lindas Haus absolut weiter!

Sehr gemütliches Haus in wunderschöner und spektakulärer Lage. Ein ganz besonderer Ort. Großartige Gastgeber.

Der Ausblick ist wunderschön, wir konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen! Alles sehr sauber, neu und geschmackvoll, nette Gastgeberin,hundefreundlich, nur etwas hellhörig nach oben, sonst perfekt, wir kommen gern wieder

Beautiful small apartment for 2 people. Perfectly located, clean, spotless, include all type of amenities, like full kitchen, super nice washroom with everything a girl wants 🤗🤗. Nice decoration, very comfy.

Die Unterkunft liegt absolut traumhaft und ist gemütlich. Es war herrlich jeden Tag auf das Wasser sehen zu können. Wenjia ist eine großartige, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und sehr gut erreichbar. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut und hochwertig, sodass wir sogar für unser Weihnachtsmenü bestens ausgestattet waren. Die Deko ist weniger zurückhaltend, als es auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Auch die Einrichtung hat sich minimal geändert. Geheizt wird vorrangig mit Heizlüftern, die permanent Geräusche machen. Für uns, die bewusst Ruhe finden wollten und eher reizoffen sind, war das störend. Im Sommer ist die Unterkunft sicherlich ebenfalls ein absoluter Traum! Preis-Leistung war gut und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Du kan ikke finne en fredeligere hytte enn denne perlen ved Telavåg. Helt alene, ytterst mot storhavet og med en utsikt som gjør at sjelen får ro. Dette er sjelden vare! Kunne sitte i timevis og bare se på horisonten! Føler meg privilegert - tusen takk for at du deler «på godene», Kristin. Kommer veldig gjerne igjen😊

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hell und freundlich und vor allem in der Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Parken direkt vor der Haustür war sehr praktisch ebenso wie die Möglichkeit, Wäsche zu waschen. Die Kommunikation mit Jane war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank für alles :)
