Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

We had a wedding to attend at The Barn on the Pemi. Vikis place is literally only a 4 min drive away! Great place to stay for any event here. Very peaceful !

Loved this house. Beautiful views and neighborhood. Lovely to walk the surrounding area. Rare and important, all the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and set up for cooking. Be aware that the kitchen is set up with seating at the center island for 4 in a row, but there is no dining table. So if you are more than 4, someone stands or sits separately in the living area for meals. Beyond that, we found everything as described and look forward to returning!

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. We came with our 6 month old and 3 year old daughters and pup. There was plenty of space for the whole family and very kid friendly. We were saying when we were there that it would have been amazing with a group of friends for a girls weekend too! Beautiful spot where you feel like you’re deep in the Vermont woods but super close to downtown Woodstock. Would love to stay again if available!

We have been visiting the New London/Sunapee area for years. This was one of our favorite places to stay! It was so peaceful and just what we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect location. A lovely stay.

We had a great stay at William’s. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable. We had a great mix of day-tripping and relaxing with a view. We also ran into William and he was very helpful and friendly.

Our stay was wonderful at the cabin. The cabin was clean and centrally located to winter activities. Andrea was very responsive. Cant wait to go back again

This was my third time staying on Rosalind's property, but my first time in the "retreat" unit. The space is better in person than in the photos! It's a spacious two level unit with a huge bedroom/loft type area, perfect for setting up your yoga mat! The high ceilings and large forest facing windows in the bedroom were a highlight for me. Rosalind has always been a very responsive, thoughtful, and flexible host. I can't wait to stay again!

We stayed for a friends wedding and it was less than 10 minutes to the venue. The place was clean, easy to access and perfect for a group of us to stay!

Love the lakefront views! Sadly we stayed on a rainy holiday weekend so we weren't able to fully enjoy everything that the lake house had to offer. We also had a hiccup with the WIFI due to hardware issues with the router but luckily the technician came the next morning. Overall we had a good time.

The cabins location was secluded and private but not to far from activities everything you need is about a 25 minute drive away. The cabin had an amazing view and was stocked with everything we needed. The sauna was an amazing addition. We highly recommend. The house was spotless and the host was ver responsive. Overall we highly recommend this cabin and will most likely be returning ourselves.

Easy drive from Boston. What I loved most about the cabin is that it is cozy and had an indoor fire option. It rained all weekend, but the cabin was so cozy! We had no qualms about sitting in the hot tub under the rain, and spending the evening in front of the wood burning stove as the rain pattered on. So close to restaurants in South Royalton!

My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful weekend away at the Boulder house. It is in a beautiful, quiet location and the house has everything you need to never want to leave. From walks around the wooded property, a canoe ride on the pond spotting beaver lodges, listening to the many different birds, to the hot bath on the deck means you can relax but not be bored, even on a rainy weekend. The host is very friendly and helpful and clearly takes pride in and care of his property. Check out was easy with minimal asked of us. The house is just as cool in person as in the pictures- lots of thoughtful details and such a unique, cozy space that is perfect for 2 people to relax in with high end kitchen amenities and comfortable furniture. We did check out the area while we were there and enjoyed the Harrisville General Store and an amazing dinner at the Hancock Inn. We definitely hope to return to this special spot again soon!

I was so happy staying at Brooke's cabin. There was so much to be happy with, I'll do my best to list them all! 1. Brooke was well responsive - I ran into 2 small problems and she was proactive and fixed them fast. 2. The whole place is super dog friendly! I am often worried where my dog is and isn't allowed in Airbnbs, not here! Brooke even left out dog toys, bowls,and beds as well! 3. All linens were cleaned, even the throw blankets! 4. the trail in the backyard is a nice touch! unfortunately I didn't have many non rainy days so only got to explore some of it, but it is a different world back there! 5. The kitchen is incredible: 3 different ways to make coffee along with a frother and a grinder! the pots and pans are chef's choice! and the knives aren't dull! I was well equipped to cook and theres plenty of space to do so. 6. the bathtub is a godsend! 7. incredible library! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Exactly as advertised - beautiful, very private, clean; a perfect place for a solo/couple getaway. Seamless communication and logistics with the friendly hosts, who clearly maintain the cabin with care. Book it!

The view simply amazing. George our host was and he is all the things a good host should be; welcoming, helpful, accommodating, great personality and an awesome dog as well. I will strongly recommend this location if staying on top of a mountain with great views and a warm shower sounds like a great day to you. We stayed in the main cabin and it had everything we needed and then some. Very cool vintage design feel and very clean. Great job George! We will be back!

Our third time staying at the farm and it truly only gets better and better every time. This place is absolutely gorgeous, pictures really don’t do it justice. The house is so adorable and clean not to mention Frankie and Vin pay insane attention to detail and have thought of literally every single thing you might need during your stay and are just some of the all around best people. There’s so much to do weather you go out and explore the property stopping to say hello to the animals and give them treats, hike the near by trails, or simply just staying in playing games and listening to music on the record player you can’t go wrong staying at Frankie and Vins!

Very quiet. I slept very well. The river runs immediately behind the cabin and is scenic. It's only a few miles from town, which is nice given that the cabin feels secluded. Reasonably priced. It's a good place for a single person or couple.
