Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Swimming opportunities in summer in the pool and on the beach. Located on the ground floor and consists of a spacious hallway, a spacious bathroom, 2 good bedrooms and a combined living room and kitchen. There is a terrace on both the front and back of the apartment.

With southern idyll and great nature on all sides, it is a perfect place for relaxation and excursions. Fenced garden towards the lake and road, so small children can play freely. Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

Inside there is a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower, well-equipped kitchen and living room with TV. Attic/mezzanine with 2 single beds, 1.80 ceiling height. The cabin is modern with high quality in all materials, and design furniture. The cabin is built for family use, but is rented out in anticipation of our children using it. The cabin is located in a cultural-historical area from the sailing ship and privateer era. There are good hiking opportunities nearby, proximity to amazing sandy beaches.

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

Location right by the pool and with a great view of the beach and lake. There are 2 large bedrooms as well as a loft with many sleeping places. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom as well as children's toys and books. Trampoline and playground right outside. About 7 km to Farsund city center.
