Our crew stayed here for work and had no complaints! They loved the area and loved the hosts!! They all said it was supper clean and would stay again!!

We chose this location because it was out of the way, but allowed us to explore the local historic areas, too. The house itself is well-kept, with two good sized bedrooms and a large bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner each day. Having a private dock was a huge feature, and the crab traps were already set with bait and we were able to enjoy crab our first night! The fire pit by the water was lovely, too, and we took advantage of the sticks provided for roasting marshmallows. It was a great experience and we very much enjoyed our time.

Oyster Haven, that it is! Our hosts thought of everything. The house was well stocked and had upgraded appliances. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to every question we had. The area is very quiet with beautiful water views. The back screened in porch was perfect for lounging out of the sun. We loved watching the Osprey build their nest and the bunnies hop around the yard. It was the perfect place for our Easter egg hunt. The mini private beach had beautiful sand and oyster shells galore. Lots of restaurants were close by with dine in or take out options. Some had water views. The food was fresh and delicious. Our favorite was White Dog Bistro. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Oyster Haven. Thank you, Kelly & Ben, for being such wonderful hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Oyster House. The home was beautifully decorated & in a very peaceful location. Had everything we needed and more. Our pups loved the big yard! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

We had the most amazing weekend staying at this cozy cottage for my son’s birthday getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a peaceful, welcoming vibe. It truly felt like peace from the moment we stepped out of the car. The cottage had everything we needed. It made settling in so easy and stress-free, especially with little one in tow. The hosts were beyond incredible. Their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. They even went out of their way to help make my son’s birthday feel extra special by letting us do cake with family in their backyard, which meant the world to us. This trip was full of sweet memories, and a huge part of that was thanks to this beautiful cottage and its amazing hosts. This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

We absolutely loved A Splash of Lime! The house was great for us and our 2 dogs! The kitchen had everything we could have asked for. The pool and hot tub were also a huge plus. Easy walk to the beach and you may even pass a few wild horses on the way! Thank you, Martin, for an excellent vacation home!

This place was just amazing. The views of James River, and even the Jamestown settlement across the river (using binoculars) was just mind-blowing! Kevin and Jamie left a wide variety of amenities that were extremely thoughtful and useful, to include hygiene products, charging cords (which was a life saver because for literally the first time ever, I forgot my phone and iPad cords), coffee, and even a margarita kit! The cottage is so cozy, and was very clean. I’m definitely going to book here again.

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

Mystic Is a quaint, clean and welcoming houae. All details from pictures to knick knacks create a complete theme. Instructions were easy and thoughtful. Communications were prompt and thorough. This home and its owners create a perfect sanctuary.

This was my second stay at Kathy’s and it was great. The location is perfect. Within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and a local brewery. And the fenced in yard was perfect for my pups.

Our stay was fantastic! The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring we felt right at home. The space was clean, stylish, and cozy, equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful location provided the perfect escape. Both of our pets loved the wonderful porch, spending hours lounging in the fresh air. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at Poseidon. The carriage house was perfect for us, and had everything we needed for our vacation. We appreciated having the chairs and umbrellas so we didn’t have to bring our own. We’d definitely love to come and stay again.

So thankful for this location. We were in town for a wedding and the house is big enough for us to have our immediate family over for lunch. So peaceful and quiet. if we are ever in the area again I will come back!

Great peace of history in a peaceful location. Kids thought it was coolest place ever to go kayaking, fishing, catching crabs, and relaxing inside playing chess and listening to some records. Richard was very accommodating with how far we had to travel and was able to help with a flexible check in time.
