Needed a break from the day to day and this was the perfect place. In a quiet area, but easily access to amenities and things to do. It’s a unique part of Texas most never think or even know about, and places like this let you explore them. Bonus is being a stones throw from a gorgeous state park that is beyond worth the Texas heat to brave.

Chelsea’s place was a great location to drive to Caprock Canyon State Park. Our family of 5 had a great time and were able to spread out nicely-the kids had their room and we were on the opposite end. We were able to cook comfortably in the kitchen. It was fun to wake up and see deer and rabbits. My favorite was sitting on the patio, drinking coffee, and staring at the pasture and land in front of me.

**Cozy and Welcoming Stay in Memphis, TX** I had a wonderful stay at this charming two-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Memphis, Texas. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and inviting. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations that made my short visit even better. Although we only stayed for one night while traveling from Colorado to Texas, I found it to be the perfect stopover. It offered a warm, home-like feel at an affordable price, making it an excellent choice for any traveler passing through. I highly recommend it and would gladly stay again!

Edna’s place is a true gem! It is a private retreat where you will be able to enjoy your time in Turkey and not be bothered. But, it’s also a comfort to know that the hosts are more than accommodating and a 2 min drive away if you need anything at all. Just the kindest people you could meet. That’s what you get when you come to Turkey. 15/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to Turkey, Texas.
