House vacation rentals in Halifax

It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

This house blew us away and we’ve stayed a lot of spaces. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places that’s actually better than the photos. Every room was so clean, and beautifully designed but still felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Our group of eight had tons of space to spread out and unwind. We only stayed three nights but instantly wished we’d booked the whole week. It’s the perfect distance for all the day trips we wanted to take. We explored Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and even Lunenburg and Wolfville (loved this place, it’s so cute!). I mean then there’s the games room, lake, pool and water toys. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this house and book longer than you think. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re staying for the week!

I booked CJ’s place last minute for member of our company’s upper management team. He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. My team had nothing but phenomenal things to stay about not only the property, but the property owner as well. We give a glowing recommendation for anyone interested in this property in the future

Beautiful stay! The lake was fairly accessible, unfortunately the pool was out of service but the host kindly informed us before our stay and gave us options for refund. Happy we decided to stay, as it is a beautiful spot by the lake!

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

The house is beautiful, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for a big group. Beautiful kitchen and dining area. We were expecting the pool to be open, but were informed the day before that it was not ready yet, which was unfortunate. There was still a hot tub, which was nice. Waterfront is great. Location is very private, but further than expected from Halifax. Overall awesome place, would recommend. Priced as expected for the size of house.

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

We had a wonderful stay at Francois’s house! The place was quiet, spotless, and the beds were very comfortable — perfect for a restful stay. Francios was a fantastic host: welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Raquel’s place, “Vista Del Mar,” is absolutely gorgeous!! The open concept of the main level allows for guests to dine and intermingle while enjoying the picturesque view of St. Margaret’s Bay. Raquel was quick to respond to messages and was a pleasure to talk to! A short scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove and Halifax. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Nova Scotia. Thank you Raquel for having our group at your place!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Jim’s home for 4 days. We were thrilled with the lovely home and how clean and spacious it was! Iris had made sure that our stay was comfortable and accommodated our every need! She even gave us some recommendations as we were visiting from out of town! Thank you both for a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend this place with friends and family!

Great place to host a bachelorette party! Wonderful older charming home, with fun coloured walls. Private deck with seating area, large open kitchen and living room areas. Great for gathering, close to many restaurants, etc.

My favorite airbnb ever! So clean and comfortable and well-stocked, also really beautifully decorated. Private but also a convenient location. I loved greeting the animals at the farm next door every morning and hanging out on the beach or in the garden. Angie & Scott were super helpful and welcoming. I hope I can stay again!

We loved our stay by the sea! Lots to do in the area (you’ll need a car)—we came before the usual season and had so-so weather but even rainy days spent reading in this cabin were a delight. Great amenities and kitchen was well-equipped.

The place was absolutely gorgeous! Very clean! The host was ALWAYS really fast to respond to our questions and was really helpful with everything! They provided little chip bags, plenty of coffee/tea, little creamers for the coffee, and so many other things. Would definitely recommend to others!

We really enjoyed staying at the Jubilee. It was in a great location that made accessing Halifax so easy. The house was very clean and the additional amenities were a huge bonus. Would not hesitate to come back!

The property is truly amazing! The views were spectacular, the host was very friendly and quick to respond, and everything was very clean. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of space. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful additions and added to our experience. Alicia is a superb host and I highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay and David was a great host! The place is clean, comfortable and equipped with what is needed for a family stay. Location is both central and quiet. I highly recommend!

Kelly & Doris were so accommodating, and helpful. We had the absolute best time during our stay. The property is stunning, and very well kept. Our children loved having the playground across the pond to play at. Waking up there every morning was so peaceful. We will cherish the memories we made at this private little oasis.

This was our first stay in Halifax and this was the perfect fit for our group of 7. The location was close enough to downtown and the area was beautiful and quaint. Claude was a great host with a beautiful home and excellent communication skills. We would happily stay there again should we ever travel back to Halifax!

We had a very good time at Krystina’s house, perfect for fishing, kayaking, enjoying the scenery, relaxing. Krystina and Fred are great hosts. The communication was easy and friendly. We even shared some of our Pollock fish catches with them. I highly recommend.

Isabel’s place was perfect for my daughter and me during our visit to Halifax for a friend’s wedding. It was very clean and came equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The mattress in the bedroom is probably the most comfortable one I’ve slept on in an Air B&B. The sofa bed was also very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
