In the winter you can experience a starry sky with northern lights right outside the house. In the summer/spring you can enjoy the sun all day long out on the terrace, and experience a beautiful midnight sun. 30 minutes away by car / ferry you will find several grocery stores.

This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, fireplace and an exclusive sauna. Welcome to our peaceful accommodation in the countryside with a balcony and beautiful views of the Lofoten mountains, the sea, the northern lights and the midnight sun. Own apartment on the 2nd floor in the garage with a balcony, bathroom, combined kitchen and living room with a double bed for two people, a sofa bed for two people and two extra guest beds. There is also a home cinema system. Short drive to Lofoten, moose safari, reindeer farm, whale watching and other nature experiences.

The House by the sea

Cosy house close to the sea, on the northern side of Lofoten. This means that you have a beautiful view of the midnight sun from the area around the house, when the weather permits. As well as great opportunities for hiking,both by the see and in the mountains and surfing. A nice place from where you can experience Lofoten. During winter you have the possibility to see the Northern light. Please note, that you have to walk through the main bedroom to enter one of the single bed bedrooms.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. Modern holiday home for year-round use located south facing at the innermost part of Austnesfjorden. Many hiking opportunities directly from the cabin. In February and March, the skrei comes to Lofoten, and provides a fantastic fishing. Popular place for mountain hiking with and without skis. By driving only a few hours you can reach other amazing mountains, beaches and beautiful towns in Lofoten and Vesterålen. It takes 20 min to drive to Svolvær, 15 min to Svolvær airport.

Holiday home by Raftsundet in Lofoten and Vesterålen.

Opplev fantastiske Hanøyvika ved Raftsundet. The property has panoramic views of the strait where the Hurtigruten passes twice a day. The house was completely remodeled a few years ago and features a new kitchen and open living space. Outdoors we have a great deck with grill for summer cooking. The house is on a quiet location with magnificent view of the sea and the surrounding mountains. A SUP-Board (30 Euro) and a double kayak (40 Euro) is sometimes available to rent.

Kaljord Havhus! Here you will find the perfect holiday spot. Whether you want to stay close to the ocean, go fishing in our beautiful fjord, walk in the mountains or simply stay in one with nature, the possibility is here. There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. We have boat and bikes for rent.
