On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 m from the waterfront. 70 m2 plus large room at the jetty level. Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The hayloft is over a hundred years old, but it has been renovated. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is only used by you guests and access to the rest of the main house is closed off. There is 5 gallons of water available in the fridge. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.
