Great location, and close to lakeside park. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and activities on the lake, which we did from the park about 1 mile away. Our schedule changed and Alexandra willingly accommodated us - very nice! We will be back.

It was an easy walk to downtown, but still felt like you were away enough from the downtown. We enjoyed sitting at the river reading with our books and having a fire. She left us some sweet treats and firewood. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly reccommend

Location, location, location! Everything is within walking distance. We loved leaving our car and just walking out the door. It's right above a restaurant so the parking lot does get crowded, but you do have a designated parking spot. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the tubers in the river. At night all the buildings are lit up and the view is great. The rental itself was perfect for what we needed. The listing doesn't mention it, but it does have a hairdryer and washer/dryer inside. Huge comfy bed. Overall a great stay!

Me and my friends spent a week at this place. Even though it's a shared space, it's very private. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to unwind and relax, highly recommend!

This property really surprised us! It was much nicer than we could have imagined. The price was amazing. The location was perfect. Everything about it was just wonderful.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

I loved the house and the location. It's perfect for spending quality time with family or friends, without the stress of the city. I hope to return soon.

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Heather’s place was perfect. It was just outside of town, but the atmosphere felt very private. We really enjoyed easy access to the creek and morning coffee in the outdoor seating area overlooking the creek. Very easy walking to downtown.

Your rental home was one of the best. The accommodations for 3 couples was perfect. Your response to our needs was immediate and appreciated. We had run out of propane for the gas grill and it was replenished the very next day. Thank you for your help with the TV. We found it a little confusing! It was very special to meet Mr. Driskel. He was very generous with the fish he caught and his knowledge of fishing was very helpful. It was a pleasure to talk to him. He certainly is an asset to your rental! We highly recommend staying at the Shady Rest.

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

We loved our stay at this lakefront gem. The house is exactly as described and gorgeous. The view from the back porch is amazing. Wendy is a wonderful host and her home is well stocked and very clean! I would recommend this home and we will stay again.

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! This Young Harris condo was a great stay for our family while participating in a wedding that was at the Brasstown Valley Resort a few minutes away (nice golf course there too). This condo was a perfect home base for us and we loved the large deck, the lake and mountain views and the proximity to the resort and other sites around Young Harris and Hiawassee, like the Crane Creek Winery and Bell Mountain Park (VERY steep drive not for every car or driver, but spectacular views ... we even saw a bald eagle). Amy and Kyle were great communicators and had very good suggestions. The kitchen was particularly well stocked and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again and would love to explore the area more. I will note that the 4th bedroom, which is well described in the listing, really is more of a sun room, but would be a perfect "bedroom" for 1 or 2 children. We did not use the room, but the window views of the lake and mountains in it are the best in the condo.

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

Quick trip from Florida. Great spacious place for the family and pricing was on point comparatively to the surrounding market. Will 100% recommend and book this exact condo in the near future.

Cute 2 bedroom 3 full bath with pull out couch, every room including living area has balcony access. Right in the middle of Helen you can walk to anything! Big daddy’s restaurant near by was great as well!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was better than the photos and had so many cozy areas I didn’t want to leave the house. The house was very clean and the beds slept great. Walkable to places around, including tubing next door, and basically right in the heart of Helen. Loved our stay and will be back!

This spot was amazing to stay in and we would absolutely visit again. Close enough to downtown to have fun but far enough away that you felt like you had a private space in the woods. The upstairs swing was pure bliss with a cozy, fluffy blanket on a brisk morning. The only real issue we ran into during our stay was with parking. The garage only fits 2 cars comfortably and we had 3. The person with the most reliable E brake gets the hill! Also, bring your own toiletries. They weren't provided and the local store is a little pricey.
