Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Guzmán Abajo

Wilmel's place is incredible; the view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed; kitchen, laundry, pool, patio, tons of rooms/bathrooms, and TV. Wilmel gave us plenty of recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Our first time driving up the mountain to the house was challenging because of the narrow roads, hairpin turns, and steep elevation but we eventually got used to it.

Very peaceful location with great view of mountains, extremely beautiful place. Only suggestion is to download offline maps to get here conveniently.

My mother, son, and I had a great time here. The yard was beautiful and the house was even better than the posted photos. The community pool is huge and there was even an arcade machine. The furniture was cozy and the kitchen was well stocked for eating in when wanted. We felt safe in the gated community and the area is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this place.

Loved our stay here. Better than the photos! Lots of space. The best part was the location, 360 degree, gorgeous view. Cute pool. Just note, it’s quite a steep hill to get up.

The place was amazing. The house is very spacious, was exactly as shown in pictures and the area is very peaceful, it's not too far from many beaches and the airport. I will definitely stay here again❤️

Perso was a great host, he responded to any of my questions and answered briefly definitely enjoyed my stay, house was waayyy bigger in the inside than I was imagining, ac in every room it was just great overall.

We had a splendid time! Our hostest was very attentive, she answered every question we might've had before we even had a chance to think of them. She was definetly a 10/10. The view and the surroundings are just like no other, it's a hidden paradise. It's a overall perfect place to be with friends and family, we instantly felt at home. Thank you very much Yesi for making this weekend so special for our friends and family. Will most definitely be staying again soon!

Stephanie and Roy were very responsive and friendly the home is just as described equipped with everything you can think of beach towels etc it was our home away from home for the week we were there host shared recommendations it was a great stay and will definitely recommend and stay again close to restaurants, stores, and el yunque

Unfortunately reservation was cancelled due to island(Puerto Rico) power grid outage. There would have been no water supply due to this situation. Host, Mr. Guzmán, was very kind and understood the frustration of the situation and immediately authorized the cancellation. We as a Family appreciate this gesture from him. But, we will in a neat future try to finally emjoy tgis Airbnb. Thank you Mr. Guzmán.

The place was exactly as described, very clean and welcoming. Amenities for everyone in the group. There was no getting board at this place. The outside kitchen and pool area was a huge plus. We enjoyed every bit of this house. Hosts were extremely helpful and answered within minutes when we had any questions or concerns. This will definitely be our place of choice whenever we return to Puerto Rico!!! Recommend 100%!

Majestad came over to greet us and he was very friendly and professional. There were some minor issues that we had to address but he rectified them immediately. This home has an Amazing view. It very private with a heated pool that we were very appreciative of for our night time hanging out. Majestad's home provided us with an array of fun games that were perfect for our group. A beer pong table, mini pool table, Jumbo Zenga, Jumbo Connect Four, A air hockey table and a chess board. The home is spacious and welcoming. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. There's even a Propane bbq grill on the back patio area that even has lounge couches and a Swinging chair. Whenever I come back to Puerto Rico, this home will definitely be my 1st choice if it's available. I Highly recommend this home to a Family or Group that's traveling with 6 to 8 individuals. Not directly related Majestad, but the roads in route to the home could be intimidating for some.

Casa muy bonita, y pensada para pasarla súper bien en familia. Muy cómoda, todo organizado y limpio. Ubicada a pocos minutos de tiendas, restaurantes, entre otros… El anfitrión es muy amable, y te ayuda con cualquier duda que necesites. Esta equipada con lo necesario, por lo cual es recomendable para reservar varios días, y en familia desconectar un poco de las rutinas diarias. Nos gustó mucho!

The room in the patio isnt up to par with the rest of the rooms. They’re all super beautiful and whoever ends up outside really gets the short end of the stick. It has broken screens and lots of spiderwebs. And definitely the room with the most critters. The place itself is beautiful. It’s majestic and really makes you one with nature.

The location was amazing. So easy to get around the island, Luquillo Beach was down the street, great restaurants within a 5 mile radius. The apartment was great! The layout of kitchen, bedrooms, and living room were so functional and spacious. Having A/C in both bedrooms was a plus. The kitchen had every appliance and accessory you would need to make every meal. Beds were super comfy, and it was great having Netflix to watch movies at night. It was also soothing to hear the coqui at night! Ricardo was the best. He was super friendly, attentive, and really strived to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were fortunate to spend time with Ricardo outside the AirBnb and solidified a friendship! We plan to visit again very soon. For future guests - if you are looking for a place and want an idea of what it would be like to physically (and mentally) live as a local in Puerto Rico, this is the spot for you.

We recently stayed at Demi and Andrei’s Airbnb & it was perfect! The location is not far from the airport, but you'll need a rental car to get around. Having visited PR many times, my husband & I are familiar with the roads but if you're not, just be aware that the roadways can be different. Grocery stores are about 12 minutes away. We rented 2 of their villas: a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. The 3 bedroom villa is located at the bottom of a hill. If you are traveling with elderly people, I would suggest renting one of 2br villa instead. Each villa was beautifully decorated & had super comfy beds with controlled AC units in each room. The kitchen was well-equipped with a small countertop oven. The pool area was amazing, 2 Jacuzzi’s & floats. Only 1 jacuzzi worked. The volleyball area is nice, had a gazebo, sink, grill, + games. We did have a spider situation in the villas but that’s to be expected surrounded but nature. It was gated + outdoor cameras. Overall, it was a lovely place.

We stayed at Ricardo’s place for 8 days. Just wanna say it was perfect. And we felt right at home. My kids enjoyed themselves. They loved how many cool game boards options he had available. Many laughs. And the pool on the premises wow so beautiful and very well clean. We enjoyed ourselves. Great location to get around other areas in PR. And thank you for having beach chairs and coolers Ricardo, that was so helpful for me and the kids to enjoy at the beach. I will definitely love to book again with you in future. I have no complaints at all very pleased. We felt safe and very comfortable.

Iris es una excelente anfitriona y sobretodo guardiana de un hermoso recinto. Tuvimos la oportunidad de realizar una convivencia de fin de semana con jóvenes y la experiencia fue muy positiva. Los jóvenes tuvieron la oportunidad de participar de talleres, encargarse de tareas domésticas y sobretodo disfrutar de la piscina, el billar y las hamacas. Vimos como sus vínculos se fortalecieron al tener diversos espacios para compartir. Los cuartos son ideales para grupos grandes, están bien organizados y limpios. La cocina es espaciosa y posée los utensilios necesarios para hacer grandes cenas. Aunque la carretera principal queda cerca, no se sentía el sonido de los vehículos. Los alrededores tienen el suficiente verdor para amortiguar el ruido y refrescar las noches. La comunicación con Iris fue ágil y estuvo pendiente a nuestras necesidades. Ha sido una gran experiencia y queremos repetir el próximo año. Agradecidos.

Excelente servicio, el Señor Doel es bien atento. Te recibe, explica todo e incluso te da todas las opciones cerca (supermercados, restaurantes, etc).

Fue una estadía muy placentera. La urbanización está algo aislada y es muy tranquila. Recomiendo este listado a quien le interese quedarse en un lugar tranquilo en Río Grande.

I loved this place, and I wish I would’ve booked it for my entire trip as I regretted checking out and I would’ve checked back in but they were booked for the rest of the week. It’s very clean. It’s very comfortable. It very quiet with the exception of the wildlife that’s so noisy (the coqui frogs at night, which are pretty cool, but it takes getting used to the sounds). Her location is close to the forest and that’s about the only thing I know of to do in the neighborhood. The only thing that disappointed me was that the Jacuzzi wasn’t heated up, so I didn’t use it and I think they sprayed air freshener on the pillows, which is understandable with the humidity in Puerto Rico, but I have a very bad fragrance sensitivity. The yard is very pretty. I love her garden and plants. I’m a woman traveling alone and I often get nervous in new places and I loved her unit! Plus Coco, her little dog, became my best friend in less than 24 hours. I adore that little dog. She brightened my days!
