Dongchonjae, built in 1939, is an independent hanok building. The interior space consists of the main building (Anchae), Sarangchae, and the annex. This is a traditional Hanok accommodation officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. ​This accommodation has been operating since October 2020 by opening the house where a retired couple actually lives. The host couple live in Sarangchae, a separate space, and provide breakfast and other necessary services directly. ​Guests can freely use the 4 bedrooms, the Daecheongmaru living room, the kitchen, the Numaru, and the courtyard space. ​Please feel the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae.
