Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. We remodeled part of the old house, and all the wooden furniture in the accommodation was handmade by my husband who runs a wooden workshop. We have opened a private space, which is also a furniture showroom and a villa for our family, so that many people can experience it, and due to the nature of the small space, it can only accommodate a limited number of people. Both the bedroom and the living room are windows facing southwest, so it is pretty even when the bright afternoon sun comes in, but the humidity and dark atmosphere on rainy days are very elegant and neutral.
