Vacation rentals in Gull Island

Can’t say enough how perfect a spot this is if you want to experience a cozy, unique place to stay. It was quaint and quiet with just the right amount of tasteful decor and amenities. Everything you might need was there, clean and easy to find. Hosts were friendly and available if needed. Sitting on the deck in the evenings we had loons swimming by and got to watch the boats rock in the harbour. Close enough to Bonavista, Elliston and Trinity for quick drives and we spent a few days seeing the area. One day it poured and we went back to the cabin early and had a lovely cozy evening watching the fog roll in and listening to the rain. Will highly recommend to anyone to come for a visit!

We had an amazing time. The property was exactly as described. As nice as the pictures are, they simply don't do the scenery justice. As an added bonus, the house is located away from the main road, and is as quiet, peaceful, and private as you would expect it to be. Thank you again, Stacey!

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse with our 3 year old!! We really appreciated the welcome gifts and lovely note upon arrival. David and Kim were extremely responsive with any questions we had leading up, and made sure our stay was perfect!! The boathouse had everything we needed. We found the bed comfortable which is always very important to us! The weather didn't cooperate for our long weekend stay, but it didn't even matter as there is a beautiful covered deck where you can still sit out when it's raining and have a fire overlooking the peaceful water! Our little guy loved making s'mores in the bonfire and throwing rocks into the water! Our only regret was not taking our little pups along for the adventure!!!

I stayed here with my sister for a little sibling bonding trip, and we had an amazing time. The house was perfect, it was spotlessly clean and we had absolutely everything we needed. It’s like the host thought of everything— anything we possibly could’ve needed was there for us. The proximity to the beach is perfect, it was super easy to take walks down to the water in the evenings to watch the beautiful sunsets, and we loved that the house itself was in such a quiet and quaint area while only being a short drive away from Carbonear. The host also suggested lots of great activities to keep us busy; we did the drive down through Hearts Content and Dildo and the scenery was just gorgeous. On top of everything, the host was very kind and responsive. Only thing to be aware of is that there were a LOT of spiders that congregated all over the doorway and deck, which made it a little difficult to get in and out. Overall we absolutely would stay here again, I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Staying in this tiny house was one of the highlights of our Newfoundland trip. The location is stunning (right on the water!), and the space is cozy, well thought out, and full of charm. But what made our stay exceptional was Scott’s hospitality. From the anniversary balloons and welcome treats to lending us binoculars for puffin-watching and recommending a hidden gem of a hike in Chance Cove, he made us feel truly cared for. It’s clear how much heart he puts into both the home and the guest experience. Thank you, Scott, for going above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable!

We have stayed at Eagles Nest multiple times now. Our kids love it, our friends visit us when we are there and they love it! It’s close to the beach and has everything we need. The hot tub is such a nice addition! Jeremy was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the #1 space for a night away! To say it was absolutely amazing would be an understatement. We felt extremely at home and the yurt was extremely modern and finished with beautiful craftsmanship. Small details stood out the most such as the heated blanket in the bed, the modern kitchenette which covered all of our cooking need needs, and the heated towel rack in the bathroom, which was excellent for when we got out of the hot tub. We also really liked the projector light as it provided a relaxation that we were not used to. The outdoor area was beautiful with a roof in hot tub area so even when it was raining, we were able to be outside and not get rained on. The surrounding landscape was phenomenal with lots of wild life and space to sit and relax. The fire pit was the icing on the cake. 5 out of 5. We will be returning in the future!!!
