The studio cottage boasts a common room with queen bed w/linens and small sitting area with a full futon. Quaint bathroom with shower comes supplied with towels. We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.

Camp in the Woods

My place is in the woods ,sitting at the foot of Buker Mountain, elevation 1020 ft. A trail to the top of the mountain offers views of Sebec lake and surrounding mountains. The area is a great spot for hunting and fishing. Additional hiking is a short drive from the camp. It's a great place to unplug as internet is not available in the area.
