We absolutely LOVED this place! And so did our dog! Gorgeous, safe, peaceful… just amazing! Cannot wait to come back! This is now the only place we will stay from now on in San Jose!

I've stayed at this place before and like it. The place is quiet, safe and secure. I was able to use their gym and swimming pool. Easy access to all amenities, short Uber ride to main attractions, restaurants, etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs either a short or a longer stay.

This location is off the beaten path for a regular tourist, but if you have reason to stay in this area, the place is perfect. Well appointed and furnished. Host is responsive. And even if a tourist does not have a reason to stay in this area, it is close to the airport and major roads, the swimming pool is great and view fine. It’s quiet yet close to some restaurants and grocery. For me the place was perfect.

The photos of the apartment don't do it justice, it exceeded my expectations. Everything in the apartment looks very modern, Yanitxa had very nice details and provides super clear instructions to access the place, etc. The sound of the river is an extra, very nice. A very central place, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, very safe place. 100% recommended

I always stay here when I need to be close to SJO airport. This condo is clean, safe, comfortable and easy to get to. It’s around the corner from city mall, which is super convenient. Also the place has a fully equipped kitchen as well as some snacks and drinks for purchase in the unit. Alejandro is an excellent host. I highly recommend this place as a home base in San Jose.

This apartment is the one I would like to stay at every time I have to go to San Jose. After a busy day in the city, it's the perfect place to relax and rest, it is very quiet neighborhood and the location is very convenient as it is very easy to get to. The kitchen is well equipped, with good stainless steel pots so I would have even be able to cook a meal! Very comfortable bed, a perfect walk-in closet and all the appliances I needed. Sheyla is very helpful and attentive, she replies promptly to all messages and is very kind! I highly recommend this apartment and hope to be able stay here on my next trip to San José!

We booked this Airbnb late in the evening after touring in the mountains. We didn’t really use any of the other amenities because we were flying out the next day. We just used this as a crash pad. The bed was comfortable and shower was nice. The only thing missing was coffee, there were two ways to make coffee but no coffee available. Since we got in late there was really no where to buy any either. Overall, the place was nice, clean and staff was friendly.

I was traveling alone with my 8 year old daughter and felt so at home. The check in was easy and I felt safe from the entire time we were there. Security at the gate were always kind and helpful. The neighborhood was peaceful and very clean. The home itself was immaculate. It had everything need to function. Having coffee and tea already available was nice. We often would bring home left over food from when we were out touring, so it was nice to be able to simply heat it up for a late night snack. I would open the windows and the patio door in the morning and you can get a nice breeze through the home and listen to the birds. It was beautiful. If you are looking for a clean place to rest your head while exploring Costa Rica, this is a great deal. Thank you so much Maria for sharing your home. Pura Vida :)

We love this complex!! There is so much space to play, get a good walk, and swim in the huge pools. Luis Carlos place was super comfortable, had everything we could need and more, and it’s quiet. Definitely recommend!

Immaculate condominium. Everything was spotless upon my arrival. Jennifer was especially helpful and accommodating. Grocery store was less than a 10 minute walk. One of the best Airbnb locations I've ever stayed at. I highly, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect landing spot in the city, fantastic facilities. Wish we had more days and would have stayed longer just to explore the building and surrounding restaurants.

I honestly can't say enough good things about my three month stay at Laura's San José condo. Laura and her brother, William, were wonderful throughout the whole stay, always helpful and responsive. THE CONDO: Looks just like the pictures and is very well furnished for long stays! They even had a pet bed and toys there for my pup! You'll spend lovely afternoons on the balcony watching the Pericos fly by. Condo has AC, but you hardly need it. My stay also came with weekly cleaning! THE COMMUNITY: Very welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly. If you stay for awhile, try to get plugged into the community group chat. Avalon Country Club is a gated community with a lovely lake right behind the building and manicured gardens throughout. The elevated pool overlooks the San José valley. Right outside the gate are a vet and groomer, and a small corner store/grocery. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would rent this unit again.

Beautifully designed apartment with great amenities. Neighborhood was nice and safe. The Internet connection was fantastic. I did not experience any issues working remotely.
