Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). The cabin is located 800 meters above sea level in Hovden cabin area in Engerdal with views of the Sølen Mountains. It was completed in 2021 and has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, as well as heating cables in the floor in the bathroom and in the hallway.
