Check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can directly access the lake via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

We had a great stay! The apartment is in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you are in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. We had an excellent stay! We were visiting family and exploring Friesland and this place was the perfect place for us to stay while doing so! Hella is so welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. The location was peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view of a pond in the backyard and there were beautiful trails near the Airbnb. The Airbnb was an excellent home away from home while we traveled and if we were visiting in the area again we would definitely want to stay there again!

Ideal place as a starting point to explore Assen! The airbnb is spacious, clean and quiet. Good value for money. The city center of Assen is within walking distance +/-15min. The asser forest is in the backyard and there are plenty of activities in the area.

Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: great! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with a sense of detail. But the location surpasses everything! Right on the Sneeker Meer, on the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. Sneek itself is just 15-20 minutes by bike.

We were completely satisfied and felt welcome 🤗 The location is perfect, in the center and yet very quiet. We recommend this place 🤩

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

The apartment has a great location! The surroundings are quiet and you have many excursion possibilities. We felt very comfortable and missed almost nothing. (Except a hairdryer) The highlight is the view of the water and the small garden!

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

Great apartment, very nicely decorated. It was not one of the usual very clean anonymous vacation rentals, but simply a home.

Although I did not meet Gea in person, the contact with her was very pleasant. She responds directly and is very helpful and kind. The cottage is to fall in love with. Very nicely decorated and you really have everything you need. It smells fresh and clean. It is such a cottage where you feel right at home, cozy! You have a private terrace on the water where you can sit. The center, there you are walking in a few minutes. The location is perfect. Highly recommended!

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

Amazing place with a wonderful view. It can be immediately felt that they put thought and effort into their apartment. The decoration was on point and made us feel right at home. The kitchen had everything you need and made cooking feel almost like at home. It really felt like a home and not just an Airbnb.

Very nice place to stay. It was amazingly clean and it smelled good. Internet speed is ~200 Mbits, more than sufficient. Johanna was very friendly and was already waiting for us at the property. She always tried to make our stay as nice as possible. Beautiful quiet location. What should possibly be considered for the stay: The bedroom is open. There is no door or similar between the rest of the accommodation.

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. As a result, there is also constantly fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. On the dike, there is also a beach for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. The dog has also been thought of. We'd love to come back.
