Our family had a fantastic vacation at Paula and Chris’s cottage on Lake Eugenia. This beautifully rustic and well-loved cottage is perfectly equipped for guests of all ages and interests. Although the weather started off cold and rainy, and not good for swimming at first, we took the opportunity to explore the nearby Bruce Trails, just a short 5-10 minute drive away, where we enjoyed spectacular views. Back at the cottage, the fire pit made our evenings cozy and memorable, and the hot tub was an amazing bonus while we waited for the weather to improve. Once the sun came out, the kids couldn’t wait to jump into the lake, and they had an absolute blast! The Lily pad was amazing- hours and hours of uninterrupted fun. Lake Eugenia is a stunning spot perfect for swimming and just the right size for exploring by canoe or kayak. A big thank you to Chris and Paula for being such wonderful hosts!

A Perfect Birthday Stay! I had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made my birthday so special. The space was cozy, spotless, and perfectly peaceful—ideal for relaxing and recharging. Every detail felt thoughtful, and the serene surroundings made it a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Getaway in Every Way! Our stay at this incredible riverfront hideaway was absolutely perfect in every way! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking scenery, the peaceful surroundings, and the immaculate condition of the house. The home itself is stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and every little detail made it feel like a luxurious retreat. The outdoor space was amazing, the private hot tub was perfect for unwinding under the stars, and the river view was simply magical. It’s also a paradise for kids! They can spend hours having fun at the arcade or enjoying the little playground outside—the hosts truly thought of everything! They were incredibly easy to contact and even offered us an early check-in, making our stay even more seamless and enjoyable. This place is a dream, and we can’t wait to come back!

Had a wonderful time at Karen’s cottage. Beautiful location, loved how private it was while still being close enough to town to run and grab some things if needed. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach which was amazing! We loved the hot tub and all of the amenities that Karen provided. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back and stay again!

My girlfriends and I all loved our recent stay at Birch Meadow Acres. Dave and Donna were responsive, friendly, and provided extremely detailed and reasonable instructions. The cottage was outfitted with everything we needed as per the listing and small touches make the place continually interesting because there is always something new to admire. Inside and Outside the cottage did not dissapoint.

What a perfect location for our family getaway! The place was great to accommodate all of us. The amenities were great. We made the best of the fire pit and BBQ. To add it was nice and close to BLUE MOUNTAIN

A lovely home for our family Christmas getaway. Lots of room and enough bedrooms and seating (dining and lounging) for our family, grandchildren and pups. A unique little spot so close to Blue Mountain and the village. We had great walks. A short drive into Collingwood for all essentials and food.

Our second stay at Sydney's cottage was great! Sydney was very responsive to any questions and we enjoyed our stay. It is a good mix of rustic cottage but with everything you need to be comfortable and relaxing. It's right on the main road but the trees out front help it feel more secluded. With beautiful fall trees around the yard's pond and a quick walk to the lake to enjoy the view it was a lovely fall getaway.

This place was the most wonderful escape from the city, cozy and welcoming! Perfect trip for our toddler - safety outlets and even cute games to play inside and outdoor games as well! The perfect little home away from home, the paddle boats and fishing rods were the cherries on top ! Highly recommend

This is an amzing hidden Gem, Valerie was very accommodating and the place was spacious and roomy. The lake and views are out of this world to also have the ability to kayak and paddle board was just another amazing addition. The water was chilly but with the heat it gave us relief. Fans were needed and the deck provided shade when needed on back awning. Plenty of room in the back to play cornhole which we did and Boccee Ball. Like my family when life gets so busy and you just need to tale a break and reconnect as we are all so busy this is our go to from now on. Countless hours on the Kayak and sunrises and acampfires there is no better place to be.

Anthony was very responsive. Accommodation was clean. We stayed with our cat and it was a great time for our furry friend due to the private backyard.

This is our second time staying here and the cottage was just as lovely as we remembered. It’s so nice to find a cottage rental so well equipped (comes with everything from life jackets and kayaks to an air fryer). Chris is also just a wonderful and responsive host. I’m sure we’ll be back a third time!

This was our first time to Lake Eugenia and this cottage. The photos were very nice, but wow when we got there it was even more beautiful than we had imagined. We sat on the deck and dock constantly looking at the view. The water is clean and weed free. We used the pingpong table in the boat house and the kayaks to see more of the lake. They have lots of firewood and the pit overlooks the lake. The cottage is the perfect blend of rustic and modern with a new kitchen, bathroom and decor. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and the appliances are all new including an amazing coffee maker. We hope to be back again very soon.

We had a lovely stay at the end of August. The cottage is small but has enough space for our family of 5. It is a quiet place and a lake that wasn't very busy with boats and jet skis. Lots of yard space with nice shade in the morning. We set up a ninja line for the kids between some trees. The dock worked for our needs, though be careful as some screws are poking up on the right side that need to be driven back in. There are no lawn chairs so bring some camping chairs. If you're hoping for great fishing, this probably isn't the place for you. We had no luck off the dock or out on our boat. Then again, we are not pros when it comes to fishing. There's a local shop nearby with basic groceries, beer, and wine if needed. It is also a short drive to Flesherton. When we were there the water was a bit on the cold side and there was quite a bit of algae in the water but I'm sure it would have been quite nice earlier in the summer when the weather was warmer at night. We'd stay again.

We stayed here with my married kids and children under 5yrs old. In the backyard on the left is a tall privacy hedge. On the right side a shorter hedge, that neighbour wasn't home but his property was well cared for. The back yard has a gradual slope and the lake front is not far away. There is shade and direct afternoon sun in the yard. The hand paddle boat for kids was really a treat and they loved it. You can rope them to the dock and sit there and watch them maneuver. The main floor bedroom the kids stayed in didn't have curtains to darken their room, but we are prepared and brought aluminum foil. you lightly wet window and it sticks perfectly. Then boys sleep in more then adults sleep in! The kitchenware is amazing. Full of pretty glasses and unique colanders. Everything was easy to find too. I slept on a single bed in the loft. I put the fan on lightly and opened a window. The sound of a fan is great to keep you asleep. We all slept comfortably. Thank you for sharing your home!

We just returned from a couple of nights and my toddler did not want to leave!! He loved it there! It was such a child friendly stay! From the indoor toys to the outdoor playground and castle, my kid was in heaven! I packed so much not realizing how much was there! Already a pack and play, a highchair, kid plates and utensils, stool for washing hands and more. Place was clean, the waterfront view was lovely! The kayaks were great. I am certainly looking forward to coming back again!
