Every corner is filled with character and warmth, making it feel like a true hidden gem. A huge thank-you to our wonderful host Sandy, who was incredibly thoughtful and proactive throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll be back without a doubt!

The home was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. It was in every way it was described and did not disappoint. The community was beautiful and makes you feel safe. My sister and I had an amazing time. We had so many plans to do outdoor activities and it rained all weekend but this house was perfect for a much needed staying in weekend. We stayed up here for a weekend and it was very quiet and there is stream nearby which is lovely to listen to the water falling over rocks--so incredibly peaceful. The neighbors are very close and its right off the road but you're tucked away into a little cove so it feels more nature. Great natural light and lots of windows!

A very lovely place to stay! The description matched the place exactly. We enjoyed spending a lot of time outside on the deck bird watching and even saw some fish jumping in the river. The property is also very private which was a huge plus -- no visible neighbors in any direction while spending time outside. Seth was a very responsive host and did a great job with the design of the house. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay extra nice. Would love to stay again!

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

We had a great few days at Janice's lakeside retreat! The apartment was spotless and comfortable. Our favorite place was the deck and dock, where we spent most of our time enjoying the sun and lake views. Janice was incredibly welcoming and warm as well. We have already recommended this escape to our friends and family :)

This stay was everything I needed — pure peace. The host perfectly captures the essence of this listing in the description, and it fully lived up to every word. The home was pristine, thoughtfully designed, and immediately felt like a sanctuary. One of my favorite moments was lounging in front of the fireplace on the cozy lounger — it’s truly a whole vibe, especially while watching your favorite shows. Plus, the host is amazing and so attentive, which made the experience even more special. If you’re looking to escape the noise of the world and settle into a few days of true calm and comfort, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it enough.

Our time away at Janet's for our anniversary, fun and R&R was just perfect. The Catskill Mountains are just beautiful and emerald green. We enjoyed local events, restaurants as well as traveling to other towns and areas for outdoors enjoyment, meals and a bit of shopping. Lots of diversity of choices abound. We most definitely would like to return and explore even more of the area. The location of Janet's airbnb was a great homebase to traveling around and exploring each day:)

John was indeed a “super host”! He had anything you needed in the apt and if you needed something else, you just had to message him and he’d attend to it immediately! The place was furnished comfortably, bedding, towels, and fully equipped kitchen. Even I who has a disabled foot, was able to access the very stairs leading to the entrance. He was so kind to let us use a closer parking spot! One suggestion, a grab bar in the shower would be extremely helpful. Looking forward to a future stay. Thanks again John!

We stayed for the Spartan Race event at Bethel Woods. Very conveniently located just a few minutes away. Restaurants within walking distance and a beautiful view from the deck.

Benjamin's place is all you expect and more. It is clean, roomy, comfortable, and quiet. My family is all about comfortable temperatures and the AC makes each room feel great. If you are sitting on the deck, off the kitchen, there is a breeze with pretty sunrises and sunsets. Ben was a thoughtful host! I reached out with one simple question and before we knew it we had items delivered to the door - for our family and our dog! It was a delightful and welcoming touch. The cottage is so comfortable with fabulous bedding, a fantastic Jacuzzi tub, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full coffee and tea bar! Such a generous amenity. I highly recommend Benjamin's cottage.

We had a great stay. The house was very nice—comfortable, clean, and right by the lake. Peaceful and quiet, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Scott and Joelle were excellent hosts—responsive and easy to communicate with. They made the whole process simple. Highly recommend.

Surprised my girlfriend with a weekend get away for her birthday and she was thrilled. Evelina and John are great host and their place is warm and welcoming. We loved the lake, and the quiet serenity of the location is perfect for a weekend trip from the city. Also loved the kitchen which made cooking in a breeze because how thoughtfully organized it was. Although our stay was short we did find time to take the canoes out explore the lake and take a refreshing dip. Our only complaint was that our stay wasn’t longer, and we’re both looking forward to coming back !

Couldn't have been happier with this cottage. Modern appliances, beautiful surroundings, quiet, gorgeous view overlooking the lake. The kitchen and master bathroom were standouts. Would stay here again. Bob and Julie did a fantastic job communicating before, during, and after the stay.

We did a last minute weekend with our 5 and 2 year olds and Catherine’s place was perfect. The bedrooms being upstairs away from the living area meant it was nice and quiet for the kids, they had life jackets in all sizes, and we visited a fun children’s museum 15 mins away. We had a few questions during our stay and Catherine was always quick to respond and super helpful.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend trip at Tony’s lakeside cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The setting was idyllic, and the cabin was cozy and comfortable. We loved waking up to the beautiful view of the lake! Tony was a friendly and helpful host, and the whole weekend went very smoothly, from check in to check out. We would definitely come back!
