The cabin has an outdoor firepit and charcoal grill. The cabin is located 5 miles from the Town of Franklin in the midst of many outdoor activities. Winter months 4 wheel drive/chains required.

This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home sits right on the Greenbrier river. Minutes from Marlinton, Siebert and Watoga State Park. Directly across the river is the Greenbrier River Trail. The great room offers tons of natural light with beautiful views of the river. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need. We also offer a canoe and kayak for your use as well as river floats, yard games, etc. There’s also a TV with DVDs and board games so you can relax and enjoy the evenings.

Located 19 miles from Snowshoe resort, 5 miles from the Green Bank Observatory, and 11 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad. There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
