Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Sheikh House, a single house in the beautiful volcanic region of Vogelsberg. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a dwelling house, a stable and the barn. We both worked in tourism and managed a holiday village for a long time. When we retired, we decided: This is not possible without guests! We have always dreamed of remodeling the old barn of our house – and now was just the right time.

Feldkrücken, near Ulrichstein, is a small, non-touristy, very quiet place near the highest mountain in the Vogelsberg, the Hoher Rodkopf, 4 kilometers away.
