What a wonderful and relaxing time we've had knowing that we can come home to a beautiful and tastefully decorated villa after busy days exploring Cairns. Not only are furnishings and appliances of high quality, we were able to be kept cool, which is a relief with Cairns' hot climate. The pictures say it all, we were in awe the moment we walked in. We are grateful for the space, clean and clutter free, and all the generous provisions of life's necessities including laundry powder to enable us to do our laundry with ease. The area is secure with a lockable front gate where you can park the car in a designated spot on the driveway inside the gate. The apartment is within a couple of minutes drive to the nearest IGA and the Botanical gardens. It's less than 10 minutes drive to the heart of the City. We had a great five-night stay at this villa just outside the main part of Port Douglas. It was quiet and private, which was exactly what we were after. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We ended up having barbecues out on the patio most nights, and the pool was a nice bonus. The hosts were next door and really helpful—one morning our car battery was flat and they went out of their way to get someone over to help us out. Overall, a really nice spot and we’d definitely stay again.

I stayed here with two of my young children for two nights in winter. We had a lovely time exploring the lake on the kayaks (note there are no life jackets provided) and taking in the beautiful view at different times of day. There was everything we needed to cook, relax in front of the fire (make sure to grab some wood from the Yungaburra supermarket) and sleep comfortably. Claw foot bath was a treat for the kids with plenty of hot water during a cold period. The house was very clean and great size for a family of three or four. There is plenty to explore including a tree swing a short walk around the lake - and access to Netflix! Thanks for sharing your lovely home. Michael

Beautiful clean villa, close to town and easy to find. Kid friendly and the pool was fantastic! Perfect temperature all day. Check in and out was very easy with the key lock box and it had everything we needed in the kitchen, utensils, plastic cups and plates for the kids and so much more. Martin was very helpful in providing lots of local info in their app and was easy to contact leading up to our stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay, was everything we hoped for and more, the chef was incredible, every meal was absolutely beautiful. Such a special place to stay, thanks to all the staff for such a memorable stay. So relaxing and peaceful, a hidden gem in the Whitsundays well worth a visit !

This place is magical - house is very comfortable and well appointed - really is like staying in someone’s home. The location is unique - beach and water views from every window! Just wonderful!

We absolutely loved Bills place. The highlight was the heated pool which was great to spend time in the evening after a day out visiting the rainforest or on the reef. It was a very comfortable temperature and helped us relax and unwind. The rooms were sizable and the area was enjoyable to spend as a group. We were three couples traveling with one adult child and the bedroom setup was perfect for our group. Bill and Athena were helpful and resolved any issues that we faced.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful views. We got to see the bats fly over to Whitsunday Island every night at 7pm which my Son very much enjoyed. Great outside area to enjoy a drink once the sun has gone down. Bedrooms comfortable, air-conditioner worked well. We spent our Christmas here as a family of 5 and it was great.

Absolutely gorgeous house with an incredible view from the balconies on all three levels. It felt like a palace. Everything was new and the place is so well fitted out. It felt like we were staying in a palace. And Murray was super quick in responding to any questions. Would love to stay here again!

I would say this is one of the most extraordinary properties in Australia. Everything was just beautiful… both inside and out. We all enjoyed the total privacy, abundant space and the high quality amenities and conveniences. Any questions were answered within minutes. I can’t wait to come back!

An amazing home to stay in, so clean, everything you need is in walking distance, I would 100% recommend this for your next port Douglas visit.

This is an exceptional property, with delightful hosts, in a breathtaking setting on the edge of the Daintree rainforest. The infinity pool and deck is perfect for cooling off, whilst the house itself is akin to a resort. Tinkling water-features provide a soothing soundtrack to breakfast on the terrace or drinks on the balcony. Each of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, and all have beautiful furniture and lush textiles. There are plenty of spaces for eating or entertainment or just relaxing quietly with a book. The main kitchen (of two) has every appliance you might need and more than enough cutlery, crockery and glassware to feel right at home. Once you have food & drink, you hardly need to leave for the duration, but it’s also very easy to get to Cairns if you wish, for restaurants or activities. While only 20 mins from the Esplanade in Cairns, Barong is actually a world away. The tranquility and luxury make it an outstanding destination, I cannot wait to book a return trip.

The place is beautiful, views and location also wonderful. Plenty of space for our family of 6, and the pool area was lovely, surrounded by gardens and a great size pool for the kids to play in. All in all we loved the home, location and the quality. Thank you!

We couldn’t be more happy with our stay! When we say this house was pristine we mean it, the entire home is beautiful, great quality amenities to use, little things like big bath sheets for towels, having washing machine pods and dishwasher pods available, all cooking utensils were top notch, the fridge with little bits and pieces were exactly what we needed when we first arrived. The kids loved the pool, the property itself is in a great location to duck up to port Douglas or into cairns with some fantastic restaurants at trinity beach! Andrea and Mark were so helpful with an early checkin for us so we could be settled before our event, super responsive and awesome hosts! It’s a 10 stars from us! Awesome host, made sure we had everything needed in preparation for the cyclone and subsequent flooding. Communication prior and during our stay was very good. The home was an awesome choice for our large family with plenty of space for everyone. Once all the rain had past the children had a ball playing tennis and creating games outside in the well kept grounds (the care taker was out immediately cleaning up the property etc). Highly recommend this property

We had an amazing stay here. The property is really well equipped and the views out to the golf course and beyond are stunning. Bridget & Charles were great to deal with. Our favorite cafe in PD is a very short walk away. We’ll be back!

This is a lovely air bnb! Home is in a great location only minutes walk to four mile beach and there is a supermarket just a couple of minutes drive away. Easy checkin process. Wendy and Paul were in communication throughout the booking and provided very helpful tips throughout our stay on restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We had a fantastic week-long stay at this beautiful home in Trinity Park! Both my family and my brother’s family stayed together and the house was perfect for us. It’s incredibly spacious, with four comfortable bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The highlight for the kids was definitely the swimming pool — they spent hours in it every day and absolutely loved it. The house was clean, well-equipped, and in a peaceful location. Carrol was responsive, friendly, and very helpful, even offering to send back a few items we accidentally left behind. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend this place for families or larger groups looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!
