Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint village of Reedsville with eateries, shops and taverns... all surrounded by the Amish community. State College is 27 miles. Beautiful flower beds show their vibrant colors along side the tranquility of Honey Creek!

Our home is 53 miles from Harrisburg and 54 miles from State College. 10 minutes from Rt. 322. We live along a main road.We live in a beautiful setting in the country with Shade Mountain in the background. We finished our basement in 2019 and have around 1200 square feet of lovely and modern decor with a full kitchen.A dining table with 2 extra leaves. Large living room with wrap around couch and a regular couch which comes out into a queen bed along with a comfortable recliner.

Thank you for providing a place for a perfect weekend celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. It was magical to be here without our kids, although we know our kids would’ve loved the loft area! We putzed around State College thrifting, drinking coffee, eating ice cream. We also tried a creepy themed restaurant in Axemann. While in the tiny home, we enjoyed watching several movies, staying up late, and sleeping in! So relaxing!! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking a steak dinner one night, and it was really helpful to have a washer and dryer. Shane was a very responsive host and helpful with our special requests. This is a beautiful Airbnb that is great for couples!

Cheryl’s home was above standards with flexibility for our stay, accommodations we needed to give us plenty of room while also being cozy, and was priced well for the area when comparing to other homes. We were given the flexibility we needed while staying with our baby and family. When we needed something during the stay, we could count on Cheryl to respond to us within minutes. Check-in was so easy and there were simple steps during our checkout process that didn’t seem too overwhelming. We will definitely be staying again as it was central to both sides of our distant family.

The apartment was a great location for our fishing trip. It was nice having nearby streams to fish and Penn's Creek just 30 minutes away. The space was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We had good communication from the host as well. I would book this listing again without hesitation.

We had a great stay at Chris’s place! We stayed here for a wedding at General Potter Farm and this was the perfect location for us to stay with our dogs. The one thing I will note about the area is that we were unable to use ride share services—Lyft, uber, and taxis did not come out (this was around 4pm on a Saturday), so plan accordingly!

Leon&Karen’s cabin is the perfect spot for some days of peace and nature. The place is so beautifully built and so cosy, it made us feel perfect even though it rained for almost the whole stay. The hosts helped us with food recommendations and were so sweet to leave us some delicious home-made cookies on our arrival. The cabin was super clean and well equipped. We would love to come back there again!
