This 2 bedroom guest house has been carefully, lovingly refurbished, upgraded and (just slightly) remodeled, while continuing to reflect the charm and character of early ranch living in southwest New Mexico. Including the 16'x24' screened Veranda porch, you'll have nearly 1400 square feet of comfortable living space to call 'home'. New Mexico Cabin Rentals chose the historic heritage Double E Ranch headquarters as a representation of an authentic Territorial Style New Mexico ranch home first built in the mid 1800's. Its high ceilings in the living room/dining/bedroom enhance your sense of natural light filled spaces, with turn a "turn of the century" atmosphere. It is the perfect location to experience vintage ranch life as it might have been 100+ years ago, in southwest New Mexico. An intimate living room area includes a flat screened HD TV, dvd player and library, as well as Wi-Fi internet allowing you to stream movies or music and access the internet. VOIP telephone service provides for long distance calls within the Continental U.S. at no charge to you. Your may receive cell service if your cell phone is Wi-Fi compatible. You may need to go to change your phone 'settings', turn on 'wi-fi' and log into our network. In your master bath, you will enjoy plenty of hot water to soak in the luxury of a deep cast iron, claw foot bath tub. A 1940's hoosier cabinet with etched glass doors provide plenty of space for your personal toiletries. The full bath has a pedestal sink and an over sized stall shower with a "rain water" shower head. Lots of natural light reflecting through a stained glass window off the Italian stone flooring fills the room with soothing shades of beige and cream. The kitchen offers custom cabinetry and shelving, extra large refrigerator/freezer, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, a coffee maker, gourmet spices, sugar, flour, condiments, foil and charcoal bbq grill making it easy for you to feel right at home. You only need to bring your personal toiletries, preferred food and beverages (ground coffee?)! We also provide a bbq grill, charcoal, lighter fluid for up to one weeks stay. A few miles from your cabin you'll find our local convenience store/gas station. They are stocked with fresh dairy products, eggs, ice cream, bread, canned fruits and vegetables, frozen meat, lunch meat, soda, snacks - open 7 days a week. The Swan st Cottage

Our quaint, simple little place is located exactly in the middle of Silver City. It was our family’s first home for 10+ years. Local Artists sell their Art in the home. The hospital and track are near by. We have had the same great, but very close neighbors for over 15 years who watch out for each other. The traffic can be busy on weekdays around 8am and 5pm.
