Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Grandes-Piles

I highly recommend the place - interiors excellent, host very friendly and to the point, surroundings are serene and tranquil. Space wise, it’s not for more than 11 people in my opinion. 5 dedicated bedrooms for 2 persons each and then 1 more bedroom in the basement but the bed is wall to wall, so good enough for 1 bachelor. Really good couches but wouldn’t recommend them to sleep overnight unless you’re trying to cut on budget. Definitely didn’t feel like it’s good enough for 19 people as advertised, good that we were just 12 with a kid. In a nutshell, bet your money on it if you’re planning a peaceful vacation for 11 people. Thanks Renato!

Excellent villa highly recommended I will return another time

Arrived in a sublime home for a weekend getaway with the family. The cottage is perfectly located among the trees with a terrace overlooking the river, no opposite! Everything was clean and tidy, so yes there is no internet and very little cellular network but just what it takes to do the minimum. And finally it feels good to really pick up! The place is on the other hand quite remote so nothing nearby, there is a convenience store 10 minutes to the south but I recommend moving to the village of "la tuque" to the north it is a small 30 minutes and there is a maxi and other shops to refuel the cottage if needed. In addition, for the outings we strongly recommend the small park just before "la tuque" because there is a health trail around a beautiful waterfall as well as a children's park and cabins with stories about the local history so very interesting. What a great spot - so peaceful. The house is enormous, inviting, and comfortable. It was just me staying there for one night so way more house than I needed, but it beat the heck out of a hotel for the night. Despite the odd knicks and scratches of an older home, the place is wonderfully clean and the bed I slept in was very comfy - ah the silence of the countryside with the window wide open.

Julien’s chalet was breathtaking. It is located in a quiet area. The design and amenities were beautiful and very welcoming. There is a gorgeous little stream near the house where you can sit and enjoy what nature has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for more!

Beautiful!! The house as well as the outdoor space were perfectly suited to our needs as we travel with our two sheepdogs. The kitchen is well-equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. The photos and description are as promised. The host is friendly and quick to answer our questions. Access to the river and the proximity of walking trails are a plus!! We would highly recommend :)

Beautiful place. Quiet and well-equipped. We were able to have an early check-in which greatly improved our short one-night stay for the Pont-Rouge festival which is less than 20 minutes away by vehicle. We will come back for the next editions and enjoy the pool/spa a little more and maybe the adjacent golf course.

Sylvie was very welcoming and prepared the loft with music and a book of places for food. Grocery store and restaurants were an easy 5min drive and very convenient. Thank you so much Sylvie. My cousin and I had an amazing night sleep. Scenery was peaceful.

The most 5 star experience we’ve ever had on Airbnb - and we’ve stayed at some stunning places! It was a welcome retreat into nature with our dog Oso and the home had everything you could ask for. Full kitchen and espresso machine were a huge plus. Very clean and uncluttered. STUNNING views of nature from the large windows inside. Bonfire area with instructions and a beautiful lake a short drive and hike away. Hosts were wonderful and communicative. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The place was very cozy, well equipped with everything we could need. It was even beautifully decorated for Christmas. The board games and foosball table were a nice touch. Kitchen was perfect and had everything. The power went out for a few hours one evening but we realized the place was equipped with a generator. Nice! Highly recommend and we hope to be back in the summer this time.

Fantastic property. Exactly what we needed - serene surroundings, incredibly private and beautiful view of lake. The hot tub was such a boon. Would definitely have stayed longer if we could and we will likely return to this place when the opportunity presents itself. Highly recommend this chalet if you're visiting Shawinigan. Troix Rivière or the Saint Alexis Des Monts area.

The cottage was absolutely perfect! We were there as a family, and all the amenities largely met our expectations. It is super well-equipped and above all has an incomparable warm charm. It felt like home! The wooden pontoon is an incredible asset. We will undoubtedly be back. Thank you for having us!

A beautiful chalet with all of the comforts of home. Chalet was spotless clean and beds were very comfy. A peaceful, private setting with wildlife.

Certainly the best cottage I've stayed in, ultra clean, perfectly equipped, quiet, modern. On site there were two lakes 30 minutes' walk away with life jackets for children available. I contacted by phone to add a night and I came across a very nice and proactive person. I'll go back there for sure.
