Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Grand Manan

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

We all enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s. It is a beautiful accommodation with all of the required needs. I will absolutely book again

June's place is is in a great location. 10 minute bike ride or 5 minute drive to the ferry. The beds are comfortable and there is a great spot to sit out front under the apple tree. This is our second time at June's and she is the most responsive host, quickly answering any questions you might have. The kitchen is well equipped with full sized fridge, stove and washer/ dryer which is useful during longer stays. You will love the character of the cottage.

The house was perfect for our family. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing as well with a great view from the living room!

The house is in a great location - you can walk to restaurants, beaches, hiking trails and gift shops! There is tons to do. We felt right at home and it was very clean. We had everything we needed and more for our stay.

This was our second time staying at Doug and Gail’s place. It felt like coming home. We’re already excited for our stay next year. 🥰

Abigail and Lecresha are accommodating and friendly hosts. They were able to host our group of five and offered an early check-in. The house feels cozy and in a beautiful, quiet location. Would definitely recommend it!

Dana’s place was a wonderful stay for my sister and mother and I. It was exactly as described and so charming. The view of the bay was stunning and an easy, short walk. The decks to sit on and enjoy the scenery were great. The bedrooms were nice with great views and the beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. When we return to Lubec we would gladly stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect. The directions were perfect, the house was exactly as advertised (maybe even better), the views took our breath away. It was such a beautiful location. An incredible place if you're looking to rest and restore. Absolutely private yet close to restaurants and attractions. Great place if you like to hike and commune with nature. Of course, you have to tear yourself away from the haven that is your own personal paradise perched high above shore where you can sit on your own covered deck with a fine glass of wine and watch the majestic blue herons swoop by, and the silence is only broken by the call of the gulls - heck, we even got to watch a bald eagle perch at the top of a nearby tree to check us out. Thank you, Andy, for sharing such a special place!

The location and privacy was very nice. I loved the setup and being so close to the water. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The blankets in the yurt were very warm for when it got cold at night. I would be prepared for ticks if you go in the summer, bug spray and citronella candles were provided which helped a lot with the other bugs. Also our dog loved staying here, a perfect little getaway with your dog!

We booked this space for my parents from South Africa and they had a delightful stay at Eastport. The hospitality from our host,Janet, enhanced our experience. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and we could not wish for a more attentative host. The unit was pristine clean and beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Janet- thank you for taking care of us in the way you did.

In my 26 years coming up to Lubec, this was the first time I didnt have care for my cats. We usually go camping but knew that wasnt an option with 3 cats. Wanda welcomed all 3 cats and my dog into her home and it was wonderful. We have come up every year for the last 5 years to remember my mother, who died in 2020. She was born and raised in Lubec. I wouldn't know this place without her. We thought we would have to cancel the trip due to lack of cat care but because of Wanda we were able to not only bring our entire family but thrive the entire time. We enjoyed drinks on the lovely balcony and had a very peaceful time. The lighthouse was 5 minutes away and there's a beach you can walk to from the house! 10/10, 5 stars. We will be renting here again!

Our stay was amazing once again! The house itself is beautifully designed with a deck overlooking beautiful sunrises with water views and sounds of nature all around. It is a tranquil place to relax and unwind. The home is well equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed use of the grill and propane fire pit. There is also a beautiful area with a fire pit overlooking the water. We were also able to access our internet and stream movies on the TV in the evening with a fire going in the very large, beautiful, stone fireplace. We enjoyed the garage amenities; pool table, darts, and corn hole. The ambiance itself makes it truly a dream vacation. This home is a gem! We had a great stay! The island is easy to get around so everything is not far to get to from the cottage. No tv so we were oblivious to what was happening in US politics which was a good thing! We saw some beautiful sunsets, walked some beaches and took the ferry over to Whitehead island. I definitely want to return! The cottage was very authentic and I was able to easily cook a fresh lobster in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the deck was great to sit on and enjoy the waterview.

Sooooo beautiful. Zoltan and Laura are naturally warm-hearted and welcoming. They are a perfect balance of being responsive and proactive, without being intrusive. And YES there are roosters, and YES there are piggies, but that is the joy of a working farm. I was lucky enough to be there during the launch of their micro-brewery's summer beers ( @wearemothermushroom ), and had a delicious IPA and light Stout along with a great plate of fish and frings at The Porch. SO much to see and do; around every bend is another breathtaking beach to sit and, or cycle to, or paddle by. All to come home to smiles, and cock-a-doodle dos. We are going back labour day weekend! So glad to connect and become friends with Laura and Zoltan.
