Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Grand Baie

This place was conveniently located; within a 10 min walk to the beach and bus stop, and 15 mins walk to the supermarket. The property was well laid out and the bedrooms were all good sized double rooms, each with air conditioning. The lounge area was open planned and a good kitchen area with all the basics you would need. The shower rooms were spacious. The biggest plus was the hosts who were welcoming and easily reachable. We had a few very minor issues and each time we contacted them they responded immediately, no matter how trivial the issue. We had a lovely long stay here and enjoyed the laidback and friendly atmosphere of the island. A welcome change from the cold and grey of London - thank you!

Sana is a great host, friendly and happy to help. She attended all our request quickly. If you looking for a peaceful getaway, that's the place to be. 5-10 min walk to the melville beach. 5 min by car to goodlands shopping mall. House is clean with a nice well maintained garden, coconut trees and flowers. I'll recommend for those trying to have time away from busy life/town just to relax and enjoy life of a small fisherman village.

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

Irfan was attentive, available with effective communication and always in a good mood. He did everything he could to make our stay unforgettable with recommendations (activities, restaurants...) that made the difference. We had an amazing stay at Jean’s villa in Mauritius! The house is stunning – modern, spacious, and incredibly welcoming, offering everything needed for a truly relaxing vacation. Thanks to Marilou with whom we spoke: caring and very responsive. Small problem with the hot water in one of the bathrooms but otherwise, spacious and comfortable accommodation in a quiet environment. Very nice pool area and small garden. Perfect for groups.

Great location, house right on the water with exceptional views. Paul Brice's father took great care of us throughout the stay and Valenta made our daily life easier.... We'll come back to it for sure....

Shay and a very welcoming,smiling host. Her place was very beautiful, very spacious with a nice pool, a very well secured house with metal blinds on all windows and glass windows. A super affordable rate for this great home. Shay is a warm host he was even sad when we left. You can only love the stay at their place so don't hesitate😊

We had a great time with 13 adults in Didier's place. He was extremely accommodating and welcoming. The house is spacious, the pool is very nice and the beaches are not far away. The 6 bedrooms are nice, bright and air-conditioned. He is a super caring and responsive host, I highly recommend his pretty villa.

Really great stay at Laurent’s place! He is really responsive and helpful with anything you might need. The apartment is very nice, clean and as described. Great location between two beaches. Definitely recommend!

Spent a very good time with my family. Quiet and peaceful place. The pool is nice too and there were everthing we needed.

We had a great stay! Very spacious accommodation. Everything was very comfortable. We had everything that we needed during our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of towels were provided. The bed was very comfortable in my opinion, as well as the pillows - and this cannot always be said! It really is a 300m walk to a beautiful beach. We felt very safe. There are lots of local restaurants nearby and also some grocery shops. Would definitely recommend this accommodation! And would definitely stay here again if I had to visit the north of Mauritius.

Thankyou Stephanie for a lovely relaxing 3 weeks in your apartment - it’s just up our street . We particularly enjoyed the peaceful setting , spacious balcony overlooking the pool, and having use of the kitchen to cook our own food from time to time . The washing machine also came in very handy during our stay . As we don’t always hire a car , we found the local buses very handy for places like Grand Baie in one direction and Trou aux Biches in the other ,and we found we could walk to the beautiful Mon Choisy beach in around 10 minutes . There are a handful of lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance , including a great new Lebanese restaurant ( Kimbo) . We have been visiting Mauritius for many years , and we really feel at home in the lovely community of Pointe aux Canonniers . Thankyou Stephanie once again , and we really hope to see you soon . My second time at Namaste for six weeks and, as before , Vanessa the onsite manager was an angel. Helpful, friendly, forever smiling and always at hand for any queries. The pool and apartment were regularly cleaned to an exceptionally high standard. The pool man and gardener was a lovely polite and friendly man. Within walking distance (approximately 6 minutes from Winners and 8 minutes from the beach) all on the flat. Everything you need is close to hand and Vanessa, the onsite Angel, will always help you out if you need anything!

Absolutly fantastic. We, a young family (baby of 11 months), stayed for a week. They were super accomodating! Helped where ever they could. Family atmosphere. Fully stocked kitchen with herbes, oil, jams,.. amazing garden and pool. They helped organise trips whenever we asked. The family babysat for us (we felt 100% at ease) and they did great! We visited two other airbnbs on Mauritius but this was our absolute favorite! Would very much recommend 😃

I highly recommend our host so much flexibility and kindness. The apartment is well located just across the beach. The pool is great with kids. Plus you have a spa next door and a restaurant we've tested. We enjoyed it immensely!

We were received very warmly. Communication was always very nice and they are very helpful. The house is situated in a quiet area and within walking distance of the beautiful beach of Bain Boeuf. Everything is very well maintained. We can recommend it.

Vic’s place was as described. Felt at home from the time we arrived. The housekeeper Roumila was fantastic. She helped us with a transport arrangements, suggested activities and places to go. Barthelemy informed us very well before the trip to Mauritius, gave us all the necessary information and was very responsive. The lady of the house was at our disposal, we had a great trip to her charming home.

We were welcomed to the apartment by a wonderful host. He took care of us every day and was always at our service. We are very grateful for such an amazing stay.

The apartment is 10 min walking from the beach . John is the best host you could ask for! If you need something, he is always ready to help! He also planned my taxi back to the airport at 5 am. Highly recommended!
