This is not a fast-paced hike, but an enjoyable nature walk which is also suited for families and less "athletic" individuals. HOWEVER, the optional ascent to the summit does require some physical effort (although well doable for everyone) NOTE: If you're the only participant, an extra charge of 35€ may be due. Please ask. NOTE 2: being this an outdoor activity, no promises can be made weatherwise (ej. no sunset bc of clouds). And while this or even rain is not a reason to cancel (rain ponchos are provided if required), in dangerours weather conditions, ej. thunder storm, the activity would have to be cancelled.

The Nasrid Palaces are located in the middle part of the Alhambra, therefore I usually start 30mint. before visiting the Palaces, like that the tour is easier and less tiring. We will leave Granada in our car, in about 20 minutes we will arrive at the base of the Sierra Nevada National Park, it is the largest national park in Spain, where we will walk approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles), On the way to the route we can see the Mulhacen, the highest peak of the Iberian Peninsula with 3479 meters of height. Since our opinion is the most beautiful and complete route of Granada, the route is divided into two parts. A part to walk right next to the river crossing a canyon, this is a fun way and crossed four hanging bridges, the largest of them is 65 meters, we will have to bend over and grab the rocks in some parts. This is a bit of fun and adventure, but very easy. The other part will walk on the mountain, in this part the views are incredible. We will contemplate the city from the points of view. In the afternoon experience, we will stop at a viewpoint to watch the sunset. From our point of view, one of the most beautiful sunsets in the city, as we will see how the Sun hides behind the mountains and the city. Guided tour of the only coffee farm in Europe with more than 30 different crops. The duration of the tour is approximately 90 minutes During the tour we will see The oldest mango tree on the Iberian Peninsula. A forest of hundred-year-old custard apple trees The northernmost experimental coffee plantation in the world. We will walk through a responsible mango plantation with green roofs. We will explain the curious cultivation and pollination of the pitahaya crop. We will learn first hand about the sustainable management of avocado cultivation and discuss practices to minimise the water footprint. We will also talk a bit about the history of the place, the Turkish invasions, the Arabian system of irrigation channels and the subsistence economy until the arrival of tourism. Finally we will visit a 19th century farmhouse where we will enjoy a small tasting of tropical fruits. --- The access is asphalted, it is recommended to come well hydrated, with appropriate footwear for the countryside, a sufficient physical condition to climb a couple of floors and above all the desire to enjoy fresh air and a unique natural environment.

The horseback trail ride it's about an hour. It's for people of any age and level, so it does not require any experience. Before going out to the field, I will explain the basics for handling the horse and during the trip I'll go with you and I'll continue giving you some directions. The route has wonderful views through the natural site of "Montevive" (the most important mine in Europe of strontium) located in Las Gabias. The roads are unpaved and very labyrinthic, so it is very important to go with a guide if you don't want to get lost in these vast plantations. Once arrived, we will take our time to really relax in the baths. The temperature of the water is a constant 38 degrees, which makes this a perfect activity for any time of the year. Those who want to can do breathing exercises in the water as it is said to have healing assets. Whilst taking a bath, I will provide you with some hot coffee, a cold beer or even a glass of cava according to your preference. Depending on the weather conditions and the energy we have, we can go for a shorter or longer refreshing walk in the surrounding protected area after having taken a bath. Granada means Alhambra. Discover the most visited monument of Spain and one the beauties one of the world. An authentic palatial city, capital of the Nasrid Kingdom. Some of the questions that are going to be answered are the meaning of the word Alhambra or the reason why Washington Irving wrote about this magic place. We will be at the main entrance of the Alhambra, next to the tickets office. There you will find a poster where you can read "GUIDES". We will hold an orange umbrella in order to be recognized. During this 3-hour tour, we will know the whole Alhambra. Starting with the Nasrid Palace, where the famous Patio of the Lions will be seen. Then, it is time to visit the old fortress (Alcazaba) and then the Christian transformation that suffered this building, example of it is the Charlee’s V palace. Eventually, the best way to finish the tour is with the holiday Arabic palace of the Alhambra called: Generalife. Other things to note - tickets for Nasrid Palace are included - Without ID or Passport is not possible to do the tour - This tour has the tickets with fixed schedule, so it if you arrive late is not possible that you join the tour.

You will be introduced to your horse before you get on and we head out on the Tapas Trail. If you are new to horse riding or a little bit rusty there will be the opportunity for a 30 minute lesson before we head out on the trail (extra charge). You will need to let me know if you need a lesson before the trail when you book. We do have Longer Tapas Trails also available from 1.5 hours to 4.5 hours.In the summer it is also possible to do evening Tapas Trails as well as morning trails.( June-September) Other times are available outside of the times set on the airbnb calendar. We head out into the mountains on horse back winding through the valley and along the Gualdalfeo River stopping at a traditional Spanish bar with stunning mountain views where we will enjoy tapas and a cool beer or drink of your choice . We will then continue our ride back through ancient olive groves along the“la ruta de los olivos centenario” back to the riding riding centre. Other things to note Please arrive in long trousers & closed shoes/boots with a small heal if possible. You will arrive at the riding centre and we will fit you out with a riding helmet & you will fill out a registration form. We will then introduce you to your horse and you will take a short lesson in the arena (30 minutes) where I will teach you the basic controls needed while out on a trek. The lesson will give you the skills and confidence to enjoy the trek and stay safe & in control. After the lesson we will head out of the riding centre for a 1 hour trek . On the trek we pass through the stunning Alpujarra area and we are surrounded by mountains on all sides . We will ride through ancient olive groves along the“la ruta de los olivos centenario” . The ride is suitable for complete beginners, those who have never sat on a horse before and rusty riders who need a refresher lesson.
