Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. There is a lovely atmosphere with high ceilings and large windows out to the garden with large old trees. The area has a lovely wild wildlife and many birds.
