Governors Island vacation rentals

After a long day of driving from New York, and hikes at Franconia Notch State park, Julianne’s condo was a perfect getaway to stay in Laconia with backyard lake views to die for. The condo was clean and cozy. The highlight of the stay was watching the sunset from the balcony and admiring the stars at the private sandy beach. The host was very responsive. Thank you for the clear and precise instructions beforehand, everything was simple and straightforward. I would 100% recommend this place! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Angelo’s Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Angelo was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. Even when we had a last-minute change of plans, he offered to extend our stay, which we truly appreciated.

Beautiful space - perfect for two couples or small families. My husband and I went for a weekend away with my parents. Loved the location being close most places around the lake and Megan was super responsive to anything we needed. 5 stars all the way!

Being walking distance to the Bank of NH Pavilion makes this place perfect for a concert. It has a nice view of the lake and is steps from a beautiful beach! We enjoyed our quick stay!

This is the most perfect family vacation spot. It is directly across the street from the boat house with lake access. The most beautiful views you could ask for. less than a mile from grocery and restaurants. The interior is stunning and clean. My family has already asked me to book it again!

Loved our stay at this peaceful lake. The house is perfect- cozy and has everything you need. We loved paddleboarding and the access to cute downtown North Conway is ideal!

We were in town for wedding over the weekend, this location was very convenient to downtown Meredith where wedding was located. Worked out perfectly! Home suited all of our needs. Vytis was always quickly responsive to any questions I had prior to arrival. Great host!

We had a great stay at Julie’s beautiful home. Her home was even nicer than the pictures. Great kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Open layout so we can all converse no matter what we were doing. Beds were comfortable. But the outside stole the show. The upper deck was spacious and had great views. The hot tub was just what we needed. Then you walk down to the dock and there is enough space for everyone to lay out. Lots of kayaks and paddle boat. Had fun exploring and fishing the lake. Perfect home for families to come together and catch up!! Oh, and the lower level was perfect with ping pong, foosball and tv for late night fun!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in the lake region of NH.

We would definitely go back for another stay. Carl is a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful and is located in such a tranquil and scenic location. We are a family of 6 along with our black lab and everyone fit comfortably. I highly recommend this place for a family get away.

Tim, my family and I enjoyed our time at your cottage, it was very homey and we had everything we needed. Our grandson really enjoyed fishing, and caught 7 Bass. We will definitely be coming back soon. Paula

Book this place immediately if you’re looking for a relaxing family stay, situated minutes from gorgeous beaches with swimming lakes and want to spend evenings bbqing and looking at the incredible view. From the moment we drove up and upon entering this beautiful place we felt like we were in our own "Happy Place". This is a place we would love to build for ourselves someday. Morning coffee & tea on the dock was very peaceful overlooking Paugus Bay and the fall foliage was very Beautiful. Christine and Corey are wonderful hosts and this was the second time we have rented one of their homes; we will definitely be back again to both locations and have been highly recommending them to our friends. It’s quite a feat to surpass the already high expectations we had - Shannon and Matt and their beautiful house managed that with ease. We were hyped for the trip since we booked, and the stay was even better than we could dreamt. The second we stepped through the door we felt right at home. Everything was as described, clean and cozy - and the views just amazing. Our baby girl relaxed as much as we did and enjoyed the amenities like the high chair and the baby bath tub that were available. We had to push us hard to do some exploring of what the region has to offer outside the house, and that was well worth it, too. There’s definitely more to explore, and more relaxing to do in the house - so we will be back as soon as we can arrange for that. All the best from Switzerland!

My friends and I loved our stay here! The house is absolutely beautiful and the views are unbelievable. We actually ended up changing our Saturday plans just to be able to spend more time hanging out at the house, enjoying the beautiful deck and views. We loved making s'mores by the outdoor fireplace. The house is cozy, the kitchen is modern, beautiful, and well-stocked, everything was clean, and the beds were plentiful and comfy. Suzette was responsive and check-in/check-out is easy. Parking IS tight, and the road is a little narrow, so maybe leave the Escalade at home and bring your smaller car. ;) The house is close to restaurants (we highly recommend music bingo at Patrick's Pub on Friday nights) and there are a lot of stores in the area in case you forget anything at home. :) Meredith is only a short drive away and has cute little shops, a winery, and a sculpture walk. We're already talking about wanting to go back!

The Pancake House was the perfect getaway! Peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, and charming! The house is better than the photos can show, and offered plenty of space for fun and relaxation. We enjoy evenings by the fire after enjoying the sunset on the lake!

Our stay at this home was absolutely wonderful! This home was incredibly cozy, and the town was so welcoming! It had everything we needed, from extra towels to a well-stocked kitchen with all the seasonings for cooking. Thoughtful touches made our stay effortless—would definitely return!

Erin's place was the best Airbnb place I've stayed in since I became a member over 10 years ago! I cannot say enough wonderful things about it honestly, from the most comfortable bed imaginable (I took a picture of the mattress and pillows and bought them!) to the kitchen amenities and the most GORGEOUS views! I went there as a retreat from hectic Boston life and it was so peaceful I was ready to book another stay soon!

We had a great extended long weekend stay at Karen’s!! The place was warm & inviting- perfect for a colder than anticipated Memorial Day Weekend — we took advantage of the pellet stove and were still able to take in awesome lake views from the comfort of the living room. Our young girls had a blast “swimming” in the large jacuzzi bath tub and playing/ sleeping on the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. We did manage to get out on our boat which was easy to dock at the slip associated with the rental. No fish caught this time around but still fun trying. The location of Karen’s place is awesome- very close/ walking distance to tasty restaurants & public boat launch. We cooked most of our own meals & were grateful for the well stocked kitchen as well as having a grocery store less than 5 min away. Karen was a fantastic host with quick response times from time of booking & then following checkout ensuring that our stay was as seamless as possible. We hope to return in the future! 😊

My family and I had a great long weekend stay at Rafael’s Lake Winnipesaukee condo. Rafael and his wife Theresa were very helpful with local recommendations for entertainment and eating. We would definitely book there again
