Summer accommodation in the heart of nature

AudreyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Stay at the top 👍 Many quality visits in the surrounding area, sometimes with the free application "LegendR".To give some ideas:Château de Neuvicq, underground church in Aubeterre sur Dronne, Musée du Poitou Protestant, ballad in the vineyards with enchanted vine, the city of bd, Angouleme and its painted walls, canoe and cognac museum, the Gallo Roman site of Les Bouchaud and for the farther (a little over an hour's drive) Rochefort by night with Oceana lumina, the Palmyra Zoo and the La Rochelle Aquarium)... Total access to the garden, terrace, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and 3 bedrooms including 2 with toilet. Super pleasant, responsive and considerate host. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation, we'll be back!

Right on the river- 4 bedroom house centre of town

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Karin and Lisa were very friendly and helpful hosts. We booked to be able to see our friends who live nearby in Bouchet, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the balcony over the river and particularly liked the lounge which was a lovely space for our wine and cheese evening. Would recommend the Maison Gautier tour which is exactly opposite the house - no need to drive after the tasting!! Great hosts- we hope to return. Thankyou.

An old mill building from the 19th century is shown by a gentle stream. The structure features muted stone walls and several green-framed windows. Surrounding greenery adds to the calm ambiance, while a small archway directs towards the water below.

Old 19th century mill by the water

GuidoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The moulin is a very original and comfortable accomodation. the ground floor is the moulin at the first and second floors is the living areas. the three bedrooms are very well fitted and so are the two bathrooms. the kitchen is well equipped. there is also a living room and a balcony. the stay has been very enjoyable overall. the real highlight in terms of activities is the Charente river where you can swim and kayak / canoe in season. the only downsides of our stay have been: the kitchen was not super clean (fridge, glasses, oven etc); the village has absolutely nothing: no stores, no cafes, no restaurant you need to drive to the next door village for everything (7 mins each way); the terrace is nice but has no sunlight in case you want to sunbathe... overall i would go back in the nice season.

Family country house

LaurenceRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Very nice large charming house in a quiet area in a small hamlet, on a large estate protected by very high old walls. The decoration of the main house is refined, we loved the multiple movie posters. The decoration of the annex is simpler but the large family room upstairs is huge. Very large covered terrace. Beautiful shaded area with a pretty natural wooden pool. The kitchen is very functional and well-stocked. Large area and excellent butcher in the next village #BBQ. Lots of bike trails nearby, bring your bikes if you can. We had a great week in this beautiful charming building, thank you Jeanne and Maxime!
