Tulsi (auntie, we called her automatically - she gives that homely air) is warm and hospitable in the pretty homestay she hosts. It's filled with a myriad of different plants and decorated with little ornaments and baubles against a beautiful valley backdrop. She was very thoughtful in providing us delicious home cooked food specific to our needs (vegan), tea or coffee every morning and evening, and offered the services of staff member Dharam, who proved to be an excellent local driver, to take us to nearby Auli when we wanted a break from driving. Her daughter sent us local tips and places for visiting as well. I definitely intend to recommend the place to my friends and do the same for anyone looking for a peaceful, quaint and pretty place to stay.

Absolutely Magical Stay! If you're looking for peace, breathtaking views, and genuine hospitality, this place is a hidden gem. You can see most of the Himalayan range right from your bed—waking up to such a view is unforgettable. Naresh, his elder brother, and their lovely family made us feel completely at home. They took great care of us and were always happy to cook whatever we asked for, and all for a very reasonable ₹200 per person. The food was delicious and felt like home-cooked comfort. Yes, the location is a bit remote, but that's exactly what makes it so special. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and soak in nature. Highly recommend if you’re looking for stunning views, warm-hearted hosts, and a truly authentic experiene.

We had a wonderful stay at Neelansh Resort, Sonprayag—an ideal place to begin or conclude the Kedarnath Yatra. The property is strategically located near the trek starting point (car parking area), making it very convenient for pilgrims. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the listed amenities. Our stay was peaceful and serene. The natural beauty of the surroundings is truly captivating—it effortlessly melts away all the fatigue. The food served was delicious, homely, and comforting, adding to the overall experience. Suraj was exceptionally helpful and responsive, assisting us in planning our onward journey. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was extremely comfortable, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The ambience throughout the property was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, making the entire experience feel serene and luxurious. One of the highlights was the stunning views – a treat to wake up to. The food was equally impressive, with various delicious options catering to different tastes. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and great dining. The only issue was the non-availability of the network or internet connection. If you are thinking about doing office chores from your hotel room, then this might not be the place for you.

The place is exactly as seen as the photos. The rooms are a bit small but the stay is at a high altitude, justifying the same. Deorital trek entrance is 1 min away. Water can be a problem since monkeys reign havoc in the area. The road farther up makes for a great morning walk and gives a panoramic view of Sari village. Only downside was that the food was a little on the costlier side but then that happens when the nearest market is 20 km away. Dev is a great host and makes it easy to feel at home. Will recommend this property. ❤️❤️

You will rightly feel home away from home. Great host, they will care of all your small needs. Good great views from the balcony and food will take you back to nostalgia.

This place can be your stop point in case you are willing to do all of Hemkunt, Valley of Flowers, Badrinath and Satopanth. I did all of them and the rest here was pretty helpful. Uncle manages the property and he does it really well. Talking to him feels like you are talking to one of your own. He was always up with morning tea and can advise a great deal on your trek plans. Do take useful contacts from him. The place is homely and has all the basic comforts one needs.

We had a fantastic stay at Mahabir Ji’s place as a group of eight! The location is absolutely stunning, offering panoramic valley views and beautiful mountain vistas from every room. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The property is just a short walk from a nearby village, giving guests a chance to soak in the local culture. It’s conveniently located just 5 km from Joshimath town and around a 100-minute drive to Badrinath Dham. What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional hospitality. Mahabir Ji is a wonderful host—warm, attentive, and full of valuable local insights. His assistant, Kalyan Ji, is equally remarkable and has a real talent for preparing delicious, home-cooked meals tailored to our tastes. We highly recommend this place for its scenic setting, impeccable hospitality, cozy accommodations, and unforgettable food. Whether for a short or long stay, it’s a perfect retreat in the mountains.
