Die Villa ist magisch und mit Abstand die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise durch Sri Lanka. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und es wurde in Absprache mit uns regelmäßig sauber gemacht. Das Frühstück ist unglaublich lecker (wir haben alles probiert) und im Zimmer gibt es ein Infoheft mit guten Tipps für Restaurants, Aktivitäten & Orten in der Umgebung. Das Team von Chethana hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und war außerordentlich hilfreich und freundlich. Vor allem die Haushälterin Ashi ist uns ans Herz gewachsen und macht einen super Job. Wir konnten uns sogar kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder kommen!

Beautiful house, well maintained. Everything worked and kitchen well kitted out. The caretaker of the house was very attentive and could be paid to take you out on a boat ride around the lake or pop to the shops in his tuk tuk. You can organise to have a meal cooked for you this is a nice experience. We had a peaceful two nights in the lake house.

Loved the villa! Right on the beach. Spacious. Loved the simple, elegant interiors, and the muted lighting. We all had a great time in the pool by the beach. The speaker is awesome. Jaan was always prompt in responding. And they proactively informed us that we could check out late as they had no booking on that day - thank you Jaan. The local caretaker Gayan, who lives nearby, comes every day to clean the pool and was helpful. He also drives a tuktuk himself. He came to check on us a few times despite his son being unwell - thank you Gayan. There is a supermarket at a walking distance and a restaurant (called A2). The main town, restaurants, touristy shops are less than 3 kms away and tuktuks are very easily available for hire (the pickme app worked like a charm). We stayed during the off season, so it is quite likely that during the peak season, there are beachfront restaurants and bars operational at a walking distance from the villa.

We stayed one night in this beautiful villa before going up to Colombo to the airport. It was the perfect end of our trip! The house is peaceful and quiet with a huge garden. There are squirrels, peacocks, parrots and lots of fruit trees and palms - like a private paradise. The private pool is also amazing. The lovely host gave us a guided tour through the cinnamon plantation and harvesting process, which was very interesting. At all the hosts are the kindest people and make sure your stay is perfect, they also arranged a Tuk to Hikkaduwa which takes around 20min. We would definitely come again! 🌞

We just returned from the most unforgettable stay at this stunning private villa in the south of Sri Lanka, and we’re still floating from the experience! We were 3 families with 6 young kids (ages 3 to 8), and this place was pure paradise for all of us. From the moment we booked, the host Sophie was an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, incredibly responsive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay extra smooth. The villa itself? Breathtaking. Think lush gardens, open tropical spaces, beautifully designed rooms, and a serene vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at home. It was spacious enough for our group to feel comfortable and connected, with plenty of areas for the kids to explore and the adults to unwind. And the staff! So friendly, so kind, and so attentive. But the real star of the show was Dias, the private chef, who absolutely blew us away with his who absolutely blew us away with his cooking. If you’re thinking of staying here—do it. This place is magic.

Dom jest olbrzymi i bardzo ładny . Położony poza turystyczną częścią co jest dodatkowym atutem . Łatwy dostęp do sklepów , apteki czy plaży . Dom ma 4 sypialnie niezależne ze swoimi łazienkami , dużą przestrzeń wspólną - salon , jadalnie - kuchnię . Mable nowe i bardzo wygodne . Łóżka też olbrzymie i super wygodne . Duży ogród i piękne tarasy . Chętnie zatrzymamy się w domu następnym razem . Polecam wszystkim to miejsce . Komunikacja z opiekunami domu bardzo dobra .

Me and my wife like this place so much! The location is the best for house on the beach! The view is amazing, the rooms are clear and comfortable. Hot water and AC in every bedroom. Big living room and comfortable kitchen. Two minutes with Tuk tuk from the city center. And we appreciate the hospitality and help of our host Shashi, who was available at all times! Thank you and we meet again soon!

top verblijf, met de liefste vader als buurman. Hij komt bijvoorbeeld altijd met een lampje schijnen als je aankomt/vertrekt in de avond. daardoor kan je ook altijd vragen stellen, maar laat hij je verder met rust en is het helemaal prive. wij komen hier zeker terug!
