A haven to re-connect with life, in one of the most hidden valleys in Spain. We have restored our cottage, on a hillside of Saja-Besaya Natural Park, at 1330m. A nest to contemplate nature away from humanity. The cabin is located in a remote and secluded location. In the edge of a magical forest of acebos y hai centenarias. Towards a glacial valley in the South, and Picos de Europa and Montaña Palentina to the west. All inhabited by incredible biodiversity.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at Sheila and David's place! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Not only were they incredibly kind and available whenever we needed anything, but they also provided us with tons of spot-on recommendations that made our trip even more special. They truly thought of everything, even leaving out toys for our son to play with, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is spacious and extremely comfortable, providing the perfect home away from home. The garden and surrounding area are peaceful and beautiful, making it an ideal spot to unwind. We loved being able to surf, explore nearby towns, and go on scenic hikes—all within easy reach. This is truly the perfect place for a family vacation, and we can't wait to return!

Excellent stay! Sara knows how to welcome you and suggest several outings to discover Cantabria. She loves her region and it shows. She makes sure you have everything you need, like a mom. 😄 The house is very clean, bright and very well-equipped, in a quiet area. Well located in relation to the surrounding places of interest (beaches, caves, waterfalls, viewpoint, etc.). I recommend it 100%.

It's been one of my best hosting experiences. My friends congratulated me on the choice of accommodation. We were all delighted. Jesus, the gardener, showed us the land and the house with great detail and kindness. All the very thoughtful details and Montse's service was wonderful. I felt very pampered by her. What a great place to explore the area. The house is very stylish, clean, and comfortable. We visited the nearby beaches only 20 minutes drive away and also did some cycling nearby. I also highly recommend the La Ermita restaurant, we had a fantastic meal there.

A spacious garden is visible, featuring a pathway made of terracotta tiles leading to a historic house. Lush greenery surrounds the area with fruit-bearing trees, and a cozy outdoor seating arrangement is positioned to the left. The clear blue sky enhances the serene atmosphere.
